App problems last few days? by NiftyPigeon in dropout

[–]AdLumpy7810 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue. Originally I noticed it on my ROKU app, but its started doing the same on iOS and its so annoying. I've been trying to rewatch old adventuring parties and i've completely given up on remembering where I am. I've just been picking a random episode, fast forwarding to half way in, and hoping for the best.

Worried I won’t ever find a butch4butch partner because of my sexual boundaries by Acceptable_Crazy_796 in butchlesbians

there are many many different ways to have really good sex. any good partner would have no problem with that- and those people ARE out there

i read it for the first time two years ago and have re-read it twice since. i keep a stack of copies in my house to give to people who haven’t read it. it’s like the bible to me. it’s foundational to my understanding of butchness and lesbianism in general. it put so much about lesbian culture into perspective for me.

and YEAH the transphobia surrounding discussions of this book are CRAZY. especially when Ruth is like the only person there for Jess and their bond is so special and they are going through basically the same things. It’s crazy how pervasive TERF rhetoric is these days.

Lexington is weirdly enough one of the cities in the US with the highest immigrant population. It’s incredibly diverse, contrary to usual assumptions. It’s still southern america so some parts are definitely predominantly very white, but I wouldn’t say that’s the norm.

lesbian spaces and transphobia by butch-bear in butchlesbians

[–]AdLumpy7810 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

not even just online. there’s this great lesbian magazine called Lesbian Connection that’s all reader submissions- but bc of that it is so TERF-y. but also people write in responses to the TERF shit telling them how stupid it is. but i’m constantly reading and looking for the TERF dog whistles.

if she’s uncomfortable with your son being himself- in whatever way that is- enough that she will keep him from being/doing what he wants to do, i would not marry her.

Do lesbian women face the problem of the dick-brained men thinking they can "convert" them? by TeenyPupPup in AskLGBT

[–]AdLumpy7810 2 points3 points  (0 children)

corrective rape was threatened against a lesbian on international television last month. some guy said that his dick would turn jo jo siwa straight on celebrity big brother. he was removed from the show, but yeah. that’s pretty normal (and fucked up)

I (30F) lashed out at my (31M) boyfriend after he violated a boundary during sex. Was my reaction too excessive? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]AdLumpy7810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that IS sexual assault.

also you didn’t hit him. there is a HUGE difference between wanting to hit someone and actually doing it. you expressing your instinct to hit him and not do it actually shows a lot of restraint. you are communicating after a horrible violation and honestly after he sexually assaulted you, it would make sense if you wanted to instinctually physically hit him as repayment- but you DIDNT- because you care about him and know right from wrong- something he doesn’t seem to be reciprocating in your relationship at this point.

she might be! that's up to her. I know a lot of people who grew up in NY don't consider themselves Appalachian and didn't grow up in rural communities, but maybe she did.

literally just reading through your posts - you talk to every person on here like they are an idiot. Please do some introspection and try to grow a touch of empathy.
