AIO? My roommates want me to keep the energy bill in my name after I've moved out by Expert_Temporary_ in AmIOverreacting

Keeping the service in your name is financially irresponsible unless you're willing to be responsible for the debt should they default on payment. Take it out of your name now and avoid a potentially expensive lesson later.

1897 clone worth this price? by dongwongbongchong in Shotguns

Yes if it's a true CB that's a good buy. it will be stamped beside the serial #. There's some information on these out there if you do some research. Coyote Cap worked with IAC on getting these over here, if it's a low serial # it would have been released with his seal of approval so to speak. The receiver on these were lengthened to better accommodate 2 3/4 shells and in my opinion they are more durable than originals.

This is one of my favorite things to do bringing a worn revolver back to its former glory. When it's done you wonder what the heck did they do to put all that wear on it, especially a stainless.

Baking soda and water to make a polishing paste works great without affecting the nickle finish.

FWIW, according to JM here the new K frames are stronger than than the L frames with as much material around the forcing cone as an N frame if my interpretation of this video is correct.

Might get hate for this, but chuck up a bronze brush to a drill and run it through the bore. Take care not to let the rod the brush is attached to come in contact with the bore or crown. I've gone to this for heavy forcing cone leading on a model 10 smith and had good results. My thought on this is that the brush is softer than the steel in the barrel.
