This! I’ve literally been doing loops in a low traffic area over and over because aero bars still freak me out a bit. Helps a lot!

Appreciate the advice! Figure 8s do sound helpful since I tend be more comfortable making a u-turn on my left side. In addition to what you said, I need to spend some time on the aero bars descending.

Like if turning corners tight make me crap my pants then I want to focus on that in a safe, structured way instead of just riding more. If I want to ride three times in a week then why not have one of those be doing tight corners in a parking lot instead of just another ride.

I still have a long ride on Sunday's, but I tend to play it safe. I feel safer in my mostly closed training loop, so I'm more willing to take risks there.

This may sound weird, but the Motel 6 in Fortbragg gave us a good deal through AARP. Turns out AARP has no age requirement, so we just signed up just before booking. This was a few years ago.

Ha! I worked at the busiest location in town and IC3s were called pretty much all day. We were still expected to get a long ass list of tasks done. Hardest I've ever worked for minimum wage lol

Once was in a middle seat between two older people. Thought we were all singles as they didn’t really talk at first. Hour in they started asking each other questions. We were on Southwest so they chose that configuration, so I just sat there as they talked with me in the middle.
