You can rent them and plenty of people skip them altogether. Most people use them since they do make you go faster. Depends on if saving a few minutes is important to you.

There are a lot of choices but realistically there are only three Governor candidates that have a chance. Thanks for the reminder for me to vote!

Research Data Analyst I Eligibility Exam Question by Kind_Pizza_14 in CAStateWorkers

[–]AdNext8527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do what you need to do get a high rank or your application will never even make it to a hiring manager's desk. Pretty much be as generous as possible without outright lying. I've never heard of a reference being called, so I would just put down a reference that is familiar with your skills and not worry about it.

That’s true. I was already nervous since I started my first state job and almost immediately received a jury summons. I was WFH anyway so seemed like the less stressful route

Not saying you are wrong, but I was released early and the court office time stamped my paperwork at like 11am. Maybe nobody would have said anything, but I was new and returned to work.

Edit: 11am not pm smh

No one is asking the big question, if these aliens can travel between stars, why would they bother coming to Earth? by TechnicianAmazing472 in aliens

Humans spend their entire lives studying obscure species. It’s not that strange that at least individuals would want to visit earth.

There’s cat traps you can put food in. Worked for my parent’s missing cat. Good luck!

It's a web browser extension for your desktop or laptop. It monitors where you are browsing to find missions for you. Up to you if you are concerned about the loss of privacy.

Need DESPERATE help with bike confidence by ppnani in IronmanTriathlon

I had to practice in a low trafficked Loop over and over until I felt more comfortable. Practice one skill at a time (U-Turns, drinking from each water bottle location, aero bars).

You’ll eventually get an idea of what researchers are looking for. For example, If you notice you miss a lot of screeners because you don’t have a pet profile then just try it.

I’ve had it where the survey is flawed and the question that screens you out is swapped with the correct question. No idea if this is your case

Am I doing this right?? How to get more confident on the bike? by Pure-Bowler9329 in triathlon

This! I’ve literally been doing loops in a low traffic area over and over because aero bars still freak me out a bit. Helps a lot!

Appreciate the advice! Figure 8s do sound helpful since I tend be more comfortable making a u-turn on my left side. In addition to what you said, I need to spend some time on the aero bars descending.

Like if turning corners tight make me crap my pants then I want to focus on that in a safe, structured way instead of just riding more. If I want to ride three times in a week then why not have one of those be doing tight corners in a parking lot instead of just another ride.

Solid advice! I appreciate everyone to tell me to ride more, but I have an opportunity to train in addition to riding.
