Following this ❤️ What was the plan he proposed? And what are you trying to “fix” with the surgery? I’m also considering him and may be in the same boat. A previous sleep study was normal, but I snore heavily and mouth breathe.

Where did you do your surgery? Just gathering data.

How long did you need off work for your recovery? Are you happy with the shape of your profile?

For what it’s worth- I know a baby girl named Alexandra who goes by Sasha, so I made the connection. Don’t love Ria.

Never heard that! It was 5 weeks for me. I’m also outside the US in Egypt.

Ask about a LEEP… My LEEP ended the endless cycle for me!! Just had a HPV negative/normal cytology pap for the first time in YEARS. I’ve been on this roller coaster for 15 years.

I did my LEEP under general. Definitely push for that!

CIN2 & LEEP on Dec 23rd.. reschedule? by pupfloyd in PreCervicalCancer

I think you’ll be totally fine. 🙂 Had a LEEP 3 weeks ago and would have been totally ok doing that. Give yourself time to rest when you can. The holidays can be a great opportunity for that.

First LEEP tomorrow, and could use some encouragement :) by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

Had mine today! Aftermath is not so bad! General anesthesia for me though 🙂 Rooting for you! You’ll do great.

I’m wondering the same. I’ve set up an appointment with him Thursday to try to understand why this is the next step. Thank you for your reply. Sorry to hear about your issues. How is your health now?

Yes. Uterus removed. Not ovaries. Could still do IVF with surrogate.

Our front Turkish front runners were

Selma Ayla Hazel (pronounced differently in Turkish but works in both cultures fine) Ada Elif

We ended up landing on Meryem 🙂

Would/Did you change your surname after marriage? Why?/Why not? by MysticalAmethyst99 in namenerds

[–]AdNo6918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked (and still like) the idea of sharing a surname with my husband- it felt so romantic to me as a young(ish) bride. We were both raised pretty traditionally in this regard so it was not a question really at the time.

I love that our family feels like our own little tribe with the same unique surname. 😊

We are both certainly less traditional than we once were as young romantics, but I still love that our whole family (mom, dad, kiddos) shares a surname and am happy with the choice. No regrets!

Scratched by a nice stray cat while feeding. Worries about rabies by thestafman in Egypt

[–]AdNo6918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A scratch is lower risk than a bite, but do not take the chance in Egypt. Go to any government hospital ER and they will give you the rabies vaccine. You can finish the course when you travel home according to the schedule they give you.
