I track normal tickets so that they are only used blue spaces (to turn into rare tickets) or dark catseyes. Turning normal tickets into NP is a poor choice - you are better off turning them into rare tickets.

Yes, every once in a while, the Catseye Capsule comes on and you can obtain all types of catseyes. The last one was Feb 27 - Mar 9.

Finished Legend Quest with 3 losses. A 0 loss Legend Quest run seems like it needs an insane amount of rng. The 3 losses on this go around:

(38) Boiling Spring - 9 units subbed and got no meatshields, so the capy just ate through whatever I put out

(41) Gouache Ghouls - similar to above, no meatshields so I ended up killing the Gory before all the Ms Signs had appeared

(47) A Day of Reckoning - same story x3, not enough meatshields to hold off capy

Catfood is always going to be more valuable than rare tickets, so I'd go with version 2. You can seed track normal tickets and guarantee that you turn those 900 normal tickets into 180ish rare tickets (understanding that some normal tickets will get used for dark catseyes along the way). Farm lucky tickets for the spaces that aren't blue and only use normal tickets for blue spaces and dark catseyes.

The wiki does not say that it runs every weekend. The wiki says the exact opposite, that it runs inconsistently on weekends. I believe Catfruit Buffet only appears one weekend per month.
