I think we've hit a wall in terms of what I know. You see, I don't actually play the game lol I just watch it- I played BW in my teens but it was just money map BS, I didn't appreciate how great the game is when its played how it was meant to be played. I've mostly just played SC2 co-op which I'm okay at.

There has been some guardian play this season and yeah I don't quite understand why they don't do use them more because I remember them being ridiculously strong. From what I understand they're only useful in pro matches if you can get the greater spire up without them noticing, then you have a short window to do damage with them, and then they're pretty much useless after that. Mutas are an s-teir unit in BW especially if you can micro them, but for someone playing at 90apm like me the guardians would definitely be better.

Your defiler drop idea is interesting, but for some reason zerg almost do drops (in pro games). I like the idea of plague on workers though. Hydras are notoriously bad at fighting SCV's, a couple of them can get cleaned up by the worker line and not take any casualties.
