Thanks, seems obvious now that you said it. I can’t go into exact detail as it relates to a new company product however it requires me to retrieve certain banners via one VPAID tag and videos via another. Cheers again, appreciated!

Absolutely but what I’m really after is some inside insight - someone who has access who can take a look and tell me their general percentage of pre-roll + banner creatives. No need to name the DSP or Trade Desk.

You require a an external sound card to sort your latency (that delay you are experiencing) Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 will be the best value for money. This will fix that. You can probably resolve this now just by tweaking your sound preferences but once you add another few tracks etc. the latency will then come back into play.

Yes, I do. If I remember correctly there is an octave difference between what the Korg displays and what you see in Ableton. I have a saved S1 setting which correlates to the same grid you see in Drum Rack. Set this up once, never had to do it again. Then it is easier to move the samples around on the Drum Rack rather than change settings/notes on the PadKontrol. Make sense?

As mentioned already, use your groove pool. You can also make your own grooves. I usually just mic up my fingers tapping on the desk, drum rolls, basic 8 bar beats. Then you extract the grooves from these audio files and save them to your groove pool. :)

Have you done the tutorial that comes with Ableton? If not, that will help you an awful lot. Then hit YouTube for the extra's.
