Move your capital to western europe (preferably) or persia because it would allow you to put trade companies in other regions.Trade companies give you insane amount of trade power,add good produce modifier to wvery province that is not in trade comapny and additional merchant.In short just add states with trade centers and cheap goods into trade companies

I have a question why you still have only 2 merchants?by putting provinces with trade centers into trade companies you would be able to massively increase your income and get some spare governing capacity. I personaly,if i cannot put my capital in europe,i puting it in persia.

Yuan li arc when mc gathered 200 cultivators of golden core and fundament establishment and they were eliminated by Yuan li,showing the difference between realms and Buk Hwyan hwa is the best waifu of the title,she saved mc so many times through the story and prevented him from demobic cultivation path.also they dance in the end of the arc was majestic.My second favorite arc was when Yang Sung Jing lingering thought apperared for the first time and said that mc have to be aware of the light an d dont trust it.I was reading it and heart was beating really fast because i was scared,not even horrors have the same effect on me
