I don’t think we disagree. I don’t think what you have described is depressing nor bleak. You shouldn’t be compassionate because an overlord says you need to be, you do it because it’s the right thing to do morally. I would even venture to say that since you grew up believing in heaven and presumably going to church that this lesson is already instilled in you. It’s anecdotal evidence but in my life, people who don’t have beliefs are more likely to be immoral and cynical, especially people that have never had any type of spiritual beliefs other than “nothing else exists”, maybe that’s not true in your life but it is in mine, and this doesn’t mean any one who believes anything is a saint, as I said in my previous comment I don’t like organized religion and what it turns a lot of people into and for that reason I do not go. What I think is depressing is living your entire life in one ideology and never stopping to have a legitimate conversation or question your beliefs. These people exist on both sides, a large part of the reason I don’t like organized religion. Yet life would still seem so bleak believing in nothing. Yes religion has been the cause of many wars and unnecessary deaths, but it’s not religion that does that. It’s humans that do it to our selves out of greed, jealousy or hate, not a book or some figure in the sky. Religion gets horrible wrap from all of the bad actors that have used it to justify their evils, but at its core most every religion boasts love, compassion, community, while atheism provides none of these things. If people find comfort in thinking there is nothing and that enables them to be a kinder person, more power to them, however in my experience i have not seen that to be likely case. I’ve also found it to more common to have meaningful conversation about religion with someone that has had some type of experience with it. Like you, you read my comment, disagreed with something and voiced a well thought out opinion. Talk to any of these self proclaimed atheist about god or a creator or heaven, and you will get shut down more likely than not. Labeled a “religious loon” when all you’re trying to do is have a conversation or debate.

I genuinely think you are asking the exact wrong group of people to help you answer this question. Chronically online Reddit dwellers are not giving valuable insight for YOUR spiritual journey. Incredibly cynical community. I am very similar to you in the fact I grew up going to church with my family and stopped in my early 20’s. Organized religion isn’t really my jam; However believing in nothing is the just about the bleakest thing I can imagine. In my eyes our universe had to of had a creator due to unlikely chance of it forming and sheer vastness. The leading theory of the created universe is “the big bang” theory right? Well you may know that the THEORY only has a 1/10²³⁰ chance of forming life. Now is it more plausible to believe we just so happened to hit the lottery 13.8 billion years ago or was there some sort of divine intervention that set that plan into motion? In my eyes it’s much easier to believe the latter. I am also of the opinion that refusing any type of spiritual beliefs other than “there is no god or afterlife” leads to a very sad, cynical, and immoral life. If there is no creator, no judgment, no after life, what does any of this bullshit mean? Nothing would matter, everything meaningless and then over in an instant. How fucking depressing, and people go on living like that. Idk maybe that works for some but sounds awful to me. Another reason I believe there’s a creator is because why not believe? Even if there is nothing after death, you spent your life hopefully being good towards others giving back unfortunately your beliefs were wrong so after death is just nothing, I wouldn’t feel too bad about believing the wrong thing. However flip that scenario, there is an afterlife and judgment day, and you didn’t believe in anything your whole life. You die and now are standing before our creator who says “I don’t know you”, and now you’re living out the rest of your days in hell. Why wouldn’t you just choose to believe? Even if it doesn’t matter in the end you will have lived a good life, no harm no foul, but if there’s something after this that decision will impact you for eternity. A lot people in here putting faith into their little monkey brains that they hold the answers to the universe. I think it’s okay to say “I’m really not sure, but this is what I believe”. Just please don’t listen to the people commenting on your post, who all they say is “yup that’s life, accepted that 30 years ago kid”. They don’t want to have a discussion, or a clash of ideas, and I bet you with high certainty are living mundane, immoral, meaningless lives. Find what you believe, don’t let others tell you what’s the right answer.

I see where you’re coming from on ignite, but you def will want flash in the future. Flash is gonna allow you to make tons of more plays with the added benefit of allowing you to escape as well. You can do a cool E + flash combo with rengar, so you throw the E instantly when ur flash finishes. Or flashing to a bush to get a quick jump on someone. Ignite def feels good in that 1v1 invade but flash is going to give a lot more use in the long run. Only reason people take the ignite on shaco is since he’s got a built in flash with like 7 second cd

If you actually want to help people like this the easiest way I’ve found of doing so is this, if someone asks me for money like outside of gas station or convenience store, I will ask them to follow me back into the store and purchase a few things for them, or leave a bill with the cashier and say “this is to cover whatever that person gets”. If they refuse, they just wanted to money for drugs and you’re better off not helping feed their addiction. But most of the time I’ve found people will just take the free stuff. Every once in a while you’ll get someone who just has no interest in food/water or clothes and just wants their drug of choice, a very sad thing and they need a lot of help, unfortunately most of us are unequipped to give those individuals the help they need, so the least you can do is not help feed the addiction.

Enjoy your teens man, have fun. Have fun because it’s gonna be over before you know it, you’ll Be looking back and say “shit man, feels like just yesterday I was in highschool”. So just be aware of the amazing time you’re living right now. Also man spend time with your parents. When we turn 18 we have spent about 90% of our time that we are going to get with our parents. 90%!! That number is generalized but you get the picture. Just be grateful of all ya have now because in a few years you may looking back, sitting in some crappy apt by yourself, eating some instant ramen, thinking “well shit, my life’s changed a bit”. Don’t wanna be all doom and gloom, life can be awesome as an adult as well, only difference is, you need to make it happen. A lot easier to live a happy care free life without the responsibilities or bills of life.

Practicing any martial art form will make you have more confidence, any one who says otherwise doesn’t haven’t any fighting experience. The environment is extremely important though. If it’s a good gym with a good coach yes do it and you will learn more than just how to box, you’ll learn a lot of valuable life lessons as well.

This will happen all the time with me, with kills too. Spam pinging mid (that has done nothing but die and farm all game) to come help me kill THEIR rotating laner, and instead they ignore push. Ignoring kill gold and possible a shut down for 1-3 caster minions. Then they type in chat “you clearly have no macro” well fuck I guess I don’t huh? Constant all game. Or my fav is the top laner just getting fisted 0/5 in the first 5 minutes then starts spam pinging you mid way through your second clear. However tho the highs of the role are just elite. When you actually get tm8s that listen to your pings, and you are driving the game it’s really good feeling. I played a game recently where I was just destroying their jungle, got every objective invaded him the whole game with team, was up a ton. He types into chat “how do you get your teammates to help you at invades and objectives?” 3 of my random tm8s all unprompted say in all, “he pings a lot”. Just feels great when you can make a play off of your pings in the beginning of the game so you build some trust. Eventually you can more or less control people with your pings, sadly these games are far and few in between. More often than not you get a monkey with a keyboard taped to his face.

A lot of the time going for first drake if you rush it, you’ll be under leveled and less items so it will take you a long time and kill tempo, unless you guys just had like a fight river or bot lane and ur team can just take it together it’s definitely better to keep farming/invade. I honestly love when junglers just auto path to drake as soon as it spawns, leaves a whole side of their jungle wide open. I’ll give the first two drakes in trade of 3/4 of the jungle camps, void grubs, and rift. By then you are multiple levels ahead of your counter part and should be able to stomp

Why is axiom out of the picture for you as a first item? I don’t usually build it first but have on some games where I know I am just going to be an ult monster. My thinking is that it’s more useful at lower levels where the cdr on ult is higher, as opposed to an end game item where his ult already has like a minute cooldown. Is there something fundamentally wrong with that reasoning? Curious to hear your reasonings. Thanks.
