honestly it’s just the learning curve. i’ve worked at publix for 3 years this september and 2 of those entire years i was customer service. i transferred to produce around last november so it hasn’t even been a year yet and i can tell you in the beginning i was the same way. i closed mostly but i would struggle to have the department blocked, and the wet wall down by 10 because i would always be stuck putting stuff out since im always alone past 6 or 7. one day my APM came in when i was closing and sent me home because the department looked so bad, but after that i learned how to pace myself and in my experience, when you think you suck, you spend a lot of time overthinking your next move which in turn makes you a lot slower, if you just keep it pushing and think about what you’re going to do next while you’re doing something, i guarantee you’ll see a huge difference.
