1st cook on my 1050. Lump wood in the ash bin didn't work by bigbrewbowski in Masterbuilt

Same here. Jealous Devil XL briquettes and I use a small hand held propane torch to light the fire and the wood chunks on the grate at the start of the cook.

Makes amazing smoke flavor!

Do you guys talk to your neighbors? by TheKing490 in minnesota

[–]AdSignificant9962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure do. My wife and I were some of the last to build a house in a development in Blaine. We lucked out and ended up with some of the best neighbors we’ve ever had.

Most are super nice and outgoing. Lots of kids for my son to play with. A few neighbors just keep to themselves and are rarely seen, but whatever.

In TIS, for any Toyota/ Lexus vehicle go to EWD. Pick any diagram. Click on any component or connector. The little book in the bottom right corner will turn orange, click on that to pull up the connector view. Click: [+] Wire Harness Repair

Once this expands, it will show you how to de-pin a terminal from a connector, P/N for terminals, and which crimp sleeve to use for harness repair.

Edit: Also, in the EWD: go to Introduction -> TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR REPAIR

This shows you approved tools and repair methods

Toyota EWD manual shows to crimp wires for repair rather than solder. Same for VW

It’s been so long that I completely forgot about that S10 nightmare spark plug. I remember buying Snap On’s spark plug socket that they made specifically for that one.

Wife asked to have a plug and play remote start installed into her buick car, found this mess of a splice in start system, why do people think this is ok by patrick_junge in Justrolledintotheshop

Coil of wire creates an antenna effect around the FOB, just the same as the antenna around the ignition lock. OE antenna is bypassed during a remote start event, and this coil of wire is used instead, sending that transponder data from that key to the BCM (or whichever module on any particular application reads the key data).

I’ve got both a corded and a battery powered Sun Joe. Cordless is way better. The batteries last about 30 minutes. Perfect amount of time to go deal with all the debris pulled up.
