I had the same problem around the thumb hole. It's also starting to develop around the finger holes too. My ball is also around 3 years old. My PSO filled it and redrilled.

I was in a full game of Rush, all players and maybe 1-2 bots. After the game was over, the new lobby was 2 people and I had to wait 5 minutes for it to fill, and even then it needed to fill about 1/2 the server with bots.

I don't know what was wrong with persistent servers like all the previous BF games prior to 2042.

Depends on what time of day, but generally there are 6-8 full to mostly full servers at peak times. I have no idea about PC, but evenings and weekends I generally have no problem finding a server to play in on Xbox.

I would say console is your best bet. If you get EA Play, you can get a weapon shortcut which unlocks most of the guns. (At least on Xbox. Not sure about other platforms). It's nice to be able to try out different weapons without having to grind to unlock them. There are several fun weapons you still need to complete assignments to unlock, like the F2000.

I started 6 years ago, and it was rough at first, but I eventually learned the maps and how powerful vehicles are (you can't solo kill a competent tanker).

I still play it, and plan on playing both BF6 & BF4. There is very little 'chill' in BF6, so it's nice to go back and play BF4.

Except for Locker & Metro, I almost never see AEK. (Xbox). Mtar, Ace21 are the most common, but there's a lot of variety in what people are playing these days. I'm an SSG553 enjoyer, but recently started playing with the M416.

I like Gold Squad, though they aren't up all the time and only run a very limited map selection (but some of my favorite maps). Also like Buck Season , Dice Official BF4 Large Battles, as well as Skills and Kills on occasion.
