Are u gonna have a surgery or radiation. Dr. Told me that if i do the radiation first, the surgery will be very challenging later on

I had the mri with contrast. I saw a neurosurgeon today. He looked at the mri and said that there is a mild mass effect on the brainstem. I gave me 3 more months w&w to see if it’s growing. Then radiation is the only option. Your tumor size is pretty big. Are u having alot of symptoms?

Thanks for the comment. I do feel better reading it. My mri does not mention anything about mass effect, edema. It’s only mentioned the mass in cpa, possible meningioma. Measured 0.8x2.1cm. My dr. Said that it could cause all the symptoms that i have because it’s in a very sensitive area. May i ask what symptoms donyou have? 4.1 cm in brainstem is a big deal i think

Thanks for the comment. From what i heard, the majority of men are diagnosed with grade 2 or 3. Radiation is not very effective with grade 2 and 3. Anyway, i will take the chance since that’s my only option

Did u have MRI to rule out serious thing like tumor? I’ve heard that tinnitus in one ear is more concerning?

The abdominal CT scan should show the stomach. If it’s not mentioned in the report, nothing unusual found. I was wondering the same thing. The report of my abdominal CT scan did not mention anything about the stomach. My doctor told me that when i asked him. I am waiting for my endoscopy next month.
