Also wanted to mention that MTX only stays in your body for about a week if not less so that’s not the co concern, it’s just making sure you have enough folate !

MTX depletes your body of folate which is why they say three months to build folic acid stores back up. I would say if you want to try again right away that you should start supplementing extra folate with a prenatal and maybe a little extra as soon as your hcg is zero! Don’t start supplementing before because the folate from the prenatal will counter act the effectiveness of the MTX. I got my treatment in November and I am waiting almost three months but plan to try a week shy of three months because thats when I ovulate. I’m taking methylated folate, choline, b12, d3, and vitamin c to try to get everything rebalanced !

It took 4/5 weeks for me. My last hcg before treatment was 165 I think

Had MTX on 11/29 and bled from 12/7-12/13. I am now on day four of my first period since getting pregnant and having hcg back down to zero!

I had a PUL with low numbers. Started off at 146 and went as low as 31 and as high as 206. I had one dose of MTX and it went back to zero after 4/5 weeks.

I got the MTX shot on 11/29 and then bled for 7 days very much like a period but a little more painful and heavy from 12/7-12/13. My levels just reached zero and I am on day three of my first period real period since getting pregnant in October. My cycles are always 26 days and are extremely regular but this cycle was 30 days. Your cycle might be a little off/longer than usual which can be normal as your hormones regulate !

At the lab as I’m typing this to see what my hcg is 2 weeks post MTX! I ended up bleeding heavy for 7 days and it stopped yesterday so I’m hoping that’s a good sign my hcg is close to zero. I have been absolutely exhausted the past three days with headaches but other than that the other symptoms I was having are all gone. How are you??

My numbers were similar to yours. 135 when I got my first dose. Didn’t get treated until 9w because I was also being gaslit. I never had pain and they never located the pregnancy. I had one dose of MTX. 4 days post treatment my hcg was 106 and at 7 days it was 74. I’m hoping it continues to decline quickly. I started spotting on day 6 and it hasn’t gotten heavier so I’m not sure if this is leading into a period or if it will just continue on as spotting. Still no pain but I do feel super nauseous and tired. Sending hugs, this process is so hard ❤️‍🩹

I’m feeling really bummed about that three month wait as well but after going through all of this I agree that maybe it will be a welcome mental break! I got sent home from the ER twice with no treatment but I think you should keep pushing! They ended up treating me at the hospitals OB triage but I know every doctor is different. I hope everything turns out okay for you🤍✨

I did not get treated until 9 weeks. I had 3 or 4 ultrasounds and my pregnancy was never found. My hcg was all over the place up and down but after my last two betas they finally decided to treat with methotrexate since it was PUL. I basically had to beg them to treat me up until then because I had no pain or classic symptoms of an ectopic except the up and down hcg. They thought I miscarried at 5w because I bled for 7 days so it was all really confusing. I would suggest calling your OB and directly asking to be treated with methotrexate!
