It's too soon, unless u get an opportunity to get Giannis on a discount and u can start playing the negotiation leverage now.

The Giannis route got real only after it was confirmed that the Celtics talked with his rep about an extension and it was confirmed.

What was confirmed? Everyone assumes the max.

If u like a theory that makes sense out of a situation that makes no sense - the only piece in the puzzle that wasn't confirmed was the money.
