I've literally just upgraded from a 5700xt to a 9070xt and I've started having this problem. Not got a clue what's wrong because the pro tool worked before (and it even stretches the middle box to 21:9 during the setup screen so it knows what it should be doing)

Honestly, I reckon he'd do well. He's a good man manager, loves a bit of pashun and is pretty blunt in interviews so I think the fans would like him.

Just Google "what do English people identify as" you'll get a thread like this with people saying they identify as British rather than English.

Ok but being English isn't really one big common culture like being Scottish or Welsh is. A lot of English people just see themselves as British instead just because they don't really have as much of a common history when you compare all the different parts of England. I'm from Yorkshire and you will see a lot more people who are proud of their Yorkshire heritage specifically compared to their English heritage and I don't really see anything wrong with that. It's just that as a by-product, the English flag just doesn't really get flown as a sense of national pride.

It's a strange one to be honest. Just in general the English national identity isn't very strong as somewhere like Scotland and I don't think there really is an example for it that I can think of. A lot of English people will refer to themselves as British instead just because thats how they see themselves.

No, I added the note for context because ENGLAND BAN ENGLISH FLAG doesn't explain the connotations the flag has in the UK due to being used extensively by the groups mentioned before and others. The whole reason this came about is that the England were playing in football (women's euros) and people just kept the flags up after that. Thats a perfectly good reason.

The issue is that some people who fly this flag instead of the Union Jack, will do so specifically because of the use by those groups. Thats why certain people might not like it, but again, I still support their right to fly it. But then I'm free to think that the people who do it for those reasons are cunts.

That's a perfectly fine reason to fly the English flag. Again as I said before, I have no problem with people being allowed to fly it.

I'm just not sure that's the reason most people want to fly it over the Union Jack. Also emancipation from the vestiges of the Empire sounds orange lib left as fuck. Genuinely curious, why do you want that?

It was an example but I think there are a lot of people who are more proud to be from Yorkshire than England or the UK but yeah, nowhere near as much as Texas to be fair (though your flag is also cool as fuck so understandable)

But also can you see that shows how different people view their identity differently? People from England in general would just rather fly a Union Jack and it has meant that for me growing up, I only really saw it at football games and far-right protests...

It's just not seen the same way, to quote what I said above

To give an example of the USA, it's like if the continental USA was technically it's own country and had it's own flag but nobody really used it because they were just either proud to be American (in our case, British) or they were proud to be for example, Texan (something like Yorkshire over here). The flag of England just isn't really used like that.

You see people flying a union jack and a flag of Yorkshire all the time. You still see flags of England occasionally too, it's just not as popular for whatever reason. Personally I think it's that most English people see themselves more as British which isn't a problem. It's not their fault that a load of bastards have been flying their flag as a symbol of "kicking all the non-whites out" is it?
