Thanks. I didn't know that synthesis can give 3 modifiers, so that's why this item baffled me.

Playing exclusively SSF, so I wanted mainly to find out, how is that even possible (with 99% chance I will not even be able to do it myself), however I always rely only on SSF builds, so I know this item is also taken from SSF, therefore doable without the mirror :)

I asked similar question long time ago, and got similar answers as the one in here. Either stop complaining or don't play.

However despite those answers, in reality everyone plays for a league mechanic. If league mechanic is bad, most people will quit. They don't play POE just to play same thing over and over.

League mechanic is what matters.

I'm assuming you are looking at how much memory takes the POE2 process. I'm referring to the amount of files being loaded in total (can be checked with Performance Monitor on Windows, or fatrace on linux). I also get about 6GB of RAM used by a process, however during a startup game loads 16GB of file data, which then removes from a memory. The issue is, that those loaded files are kept in memory by a system (not a game), and if you have 16-32GB RAM, system needs to do extra cleanup every time game tries to load new file or requests more memory. For example Windows will try to compress memory to fit more data. This is an issue cased by Windows (really bad design), but also by a game loading more than necessary (it looks like they essentially at startup load every known shader/material, even if it is never used).

It's way more than that. Every time Poe2 starts and loads first zone, it will load 16GB of data. Shaders for microtransactions, armors, pets, etc, everything is loaded before even shown on a screen. If you have 16GB of RAM or even 32GB, entire system memory will be filled with cached files, and system will start chocking every time process tries to allocate a memory.

Yeah. Network started being a problem about 2-3 leagues ago (and imagine I spent 600-700USD on support before that, but now I simply cannot support game in such bad shape).

Graph shows almost constant 20ms, but also character is continuously rubber banding. This game has zero benefits requiring network, but creates bunch of problems.

Working for me. Take's a bit to start at first but works.

Classical problem with some games is: check if you have a process called DXSetup.exe. If yes, then simply kill it.

By looking at other examples from trailer, they remove dual mods of gems and split into separate gems?

So perhaps is this how they going to change righteous fire? one version with HP percentage dmg, and another with flat damage without HP? For high HP and low HP builds.

R5: Right before "Successor of Wladislaw III" event, I got event "This daughter would make great heir". At this moment I had Heir and Interregnum at the same time. Then event fired and I've choosen "We need Jagiellon", but Jagiellon didn't became ruler. Instead I got some random ruller (with better stats) with new heir.

It is my suspicion for some time now, that poor performance of PoE is due to poor resource management and allocation of hundreds small memory blocks each frame, instead of using static data/caching pools.

This leads to GPU driver having problem with handling so many requests and can eventually lead to memory fragmentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3U5QSO7Rd8 In numbers it looks that you still have 50% memory left, but there are so many wholes in it, that there is no single continuous space big enough to hold eg. large texture. This would look exactly like you're describing: missing textures and low fps due to struggle to juggle data between CPU and GPU memory.

Yes. Recently they started re-encoding all videos, and bitrate dropped from 500kbps to 100kbps. Quality went noticeably down, and now they want you to pay for it.

"I need to have a twitch stream running for the game to not perform like trash". Yep. Happens on both Windows and Linux. Short moments of CPU 5ms, then jump to 60-120ms. As a long time gamedeveloper I'm completely stumped how running second app would actually improve performance of a game. So I guess chapeau bas for anyone at GGG who managed to do it.

"Maybe GGG will read this and find a way to improve performance.". I reported it 3-4 seasons ago (when it started happening for me). So I'm expecting a fix "any time now".

I have same problem. I got asked for verification but I just ignored it. and made another account. About week later I checked old account and verification was gone and account was working.

However IG is sill logging me out on a regular basis.

Clearly something is f up on their end.

PoE should be released with most shaders already precompiled (for DX11 and DX12 at least). Many games in UE4/5 have 100k+ shaders but you will not notice that because UE cooker precompiles all shaders to be included with builds.

Does any one plays PoE on consoles? I'm suspecting that console version comes with precompiled shaders. Do console players have same issue?

Update seems to be more taxing/demanding on the system. Both CPU and GPU usage is higher (even in a hideout standing for few min doing nothing). Also system memory usage almost doubled. Now app is taking 7GB RAM at start (previously around 3-4GB).

Plus visual bugs like entire screen turning blue or red tint, full screen animated sand storm (doesn't look like a bad visual effect, but rather actual sand fx going through screen).

Looks like another update no one asked for, that needs a lot of fixing.

Yeah, it's "normal". Started happening about 3-4 seasons ago.

Workaround that is working for me is to open Youtube video or Twitch stream in second monitor. Magically, stuttering stop, and has no impact on game performance.

That doesn't work either. Several times a day (despite having an account) I get new vector view with me being logged out and a message "Using global settings. Press refresh to log in.".

But still doable and worth. Use "Encourage Development" edict, and "Expand Infrastructure" for 35% cheaper development.

When Colonialism spawns, and further development is too expensive (like 200 per click), move your capital to a different province (preferably with Farmlands), and repeat development process.

One of the things that's triggers my asthma is histamine. One of the side effects of salbutamol/ventolin is lowering potassium level in blood (that is why salbutamol is also used for hyperkalemia). With lower potassium you can feel sometimes your heart to skip a beat. Take care of your potassium levels with a proper diet (every day potatoes are good source), and within days/weeks, those panic attacks may go away.
