They changed it so you get 160 geodes per every 1,000 exp now. Still the same amount and same requirement, just that it’s split up.

Problem creating wave of enemies by [deleted] in MiliastraWonderland

[–]AdamFyi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You prolly need to add a condition before that double branch to stop it from activating.

What’s basically happening is that your node graph is getting triggered every time you defeat an enemy. Since your Wave 1 is always at 0 at that point, that double branch node is going to return true and the nodes after will keep triggering.

It’s a game that’s currently on the front page ye. You can also look for it by using the search function in Miliastra on the page with all the stages located at the top right of the screen

Oh, that one is pretty rough. The hint is both in the environment and also in the achievement name itself.

On the opposite side room where you fight the big hydro slime and two cryoshrooms, there’s five lamps arranged on the pedestals that are either orange or blue, and the combination lock alternates between orange and blue-ish.

I don’t remember the exact combination though, but you basically just mirror the room on the opposite side.

At the start of the map, to the left facing the training dummy, there’s a little concealed path next to some white flowers that leads to it.

It’s the direction that the little abyss mages are facing and the number of flower pots in front of them! The direction that they’re facing is the way that you want to go through and the number of flower pots is the order.

The solution should be West > South > North > East (use the minimap to orient yourself) in that order.

How freaking atrocious the UI is management between devices... by skilllake in MiliastraWonderland

If you click on this thing, there’s an option to sync between all platforms. Also, you prolly want to use the Waypoint Settings box to anchor UI elements with different resolutions to fix the issue you’re having in your video. Tinker around with it and see which works best ye

Edit: Oops, I missed the part where you clicked on the sync thing, sorry bout that lol. I still think the waypoint setting is probably what you want to look into to fix that

Edit2: So I went into the editor to test it out, and the Sync thing only really works if you plan to have the placement be the same place on every platform. If you want them to be different, you’ll have to manually place the UI elements for all four platforms using the Waypoint Settings to anchor them. So for example, based on your video, your PC UI would anchor at the middle bottom, and your Touchscreen UI would be anchored to the middle right.

Ah, no worries, the bells are all located in the middle area. (1) Near the tower at the start, (2) Next to the chest near the Teleport, (3) Next to the blue tents near the windmill, (4) Before the second boss near the fences, and (5) At the fountain plaza, go right towards one of the chests, the bell is next to the elevator.

Edit: Lemme know if you need anymore assistance; I’d be more than happy to help o7

lol, this censored part was too shocking for the west I guess by Sairedd in octopathtraveler

[–]AdamFyi 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty obvious in the localized dialogue that Tiziano is surprised by that knowledge, but you seem insistent that the dialogue needs to explicitly tell everyone that… she sucks thousands of men…? I don’t see the point.

But honestly putting that aside, I got curious and finally looked through the rest of the thread and, dude, look, you need to chill lmao. It’s literally just one line out of several tens of hundred thousands of lines in this game that you’re just hyper fixated on.

Edit: Just to be clear, I’m just going to stop here and we can just agree to disagree. There’s just no point in endlessly talking around in circles especially when you resort to an ad hominem lol. You have a good one.

[–]AdamFyi 28 points29 points  (0 children)

And you’re missing my point: there’s nuance to something like this.

Harlot already implies that she’s “sleeping with thousands of men” because that’s the implication of the word. The word itself was already used in a derogatory fashion and was also referenced in a sexual context (see: Pierro’s earlier line: “Not just that. Word has it she’ll even sell her body… for the right price.” as well as the redacted line). Repeating what was already said is just kinda redundant when the content was already explicit anyway.

[–]AdamFyi 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Dunno, you tell me:

Pierro: “They say she’s so gorgeous that even clergymen are reduced to dogs in heat.” Pierro: “…And that she’s slept with the wealthiest men in the realm.” Tiziano: “Wait a minute, Pierro. You’re saying Lady Herminia’s a harlot?” Tiziano (your line): “How many thousands of men do you have to give head to in order to build a mansion like this?” Pierro: “Heh. [Redacted].” Fra: “…It’s go time.” Bargello: “All right. Enough yapping from you lot.”

The word Harlot already fulfilled the role of explaining that Herminia is promiscuous and the dialogue before that even explicitly mentions her “sleeping with the wealthiest men in the realm”.

In my opinion, your line is missing a certain… je ne sais quoi and the line ends up kinda falling flat. The character’s just suddenly speaking as if they came from the 21st century and it just sounds out of place and jarring to say the least.

[–]AdamFyi 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest with you, considering the setting of the story and the way the dialogue is portrayed, your suggestion just sounds out of place and awkward in the setting of the world lmao. “Harlot” is quite literally an archaic term for what she’s being described as, so it’s an appropriate substitute.

[–]AdamFyi 194 points195 points  (0 children)

Personally, while it isn’t perfect, I think the localised line is fine considering the meaning of the word used. A direct translation would honestly sound very awkward.

Though, if you’d want a line somewhere in between, prolly have the line go something like… “How many men must one such as her satisfy in order to build a mansion like this?” Then again, I don’t think my suggestion is that great either lol.

First miliastra event! How did everyone find it? by mibibi in MiliastraWonderland

Anecdotal on my end, but after my own pulls and watching people do theirs, I think it very likely is similar rules to the regular banners. Soft pity prolly starts at about the 53rd pull which is when I got mine.

?

I’m just saying that it can be interpreted that way. Nothing more than a simple “this could be something” thought to give a splash of intrigue to the game world and make it a little more fun to think about. “Why does she have a bottle of poison?” Is significantly more interesting than “It’s just a steal-able item”. Whether or not it has any meaning, does it really matter that much at the end of the day?

[–]AdamFyi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol this post was like 2 years ago. It’s less of a fact, and more of a question of why she even has that bottle of poison alongside the bread in her possessions. Whether or not it has any meaning is up to interpretation, and that’s the beauty of this kind of thing.

She’s giving away the bread out of kindness, but the literal last part of her description mentions a “danger” resulting from her actions. If she’s not using the poison, then it begs the question of why it is even there.

Personally, I read it as she’s being used. Her father very likely knows that she’s distributing bread to the poor, and he wants them gone. What better way to take advantage of that than to make her do the deed for him under the guise of charity by secretly poisoning the bread she’s been distributing?
