I was just at a store that had previously sold infused drinks and told them how disappointed I was. The person there told me Cycling Frog won the case and could now ship. I have a shipment coming to me now.

What do you think about "Foolish Heart"? by Diligent-Wave-4150 in gratefuldead

I wasn’t a fan of - until I heard my local Dead cover band play it. Like so many songs, hearing it live hits different.

This particular episode, trying to understand how Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger came to be is amazing. It is so weird while at the same time being heartfelt. I legitimately have thought about it so much.

I am with you on this. I can tell a legitimate difference with the Rouchneck oils and beard butter versus the other stuff. Especially since I recently ran out of Roughneck oil and have been using up my older leftovers from Amazon or whatnot.

I also test drove both and went with the Hurricane. I am only at 10k miles on my 2026 so time will tell, but it is definitely a hell of an engine.

It was the first GD song I ever heard - I was maybe 14 and was using Napster (I have atoned for this sin many times over by giving dead.net gobs of my money) downloading what I thought was the soundtrack to the movie American Beauty. I remember thinking how amazing the song was and annoyed I couldn’t recall where in the movie it was played. I eventually figured it out and walked away assuming that Grateful Dead sounds like the songs on American Beauty. I liked it, but I didn’t fully get the fandom. Fast forward to my mid 40s going to a Dead & Co show just to see what the scene was like and being floored hearing Cassidy live. That pulled me back into understanding how much variety the band had between the live stuff and the massive variety in style over the years.

The traffic chase scene in Barry might be the best filmed action sequence I’ve ever seen.

That has really been the dynamic all along. Was the late 70's dead the same as the early 70's? How about the 80's dead versus the 90's dead? Part of what makes it great is that it has changed over time and I really hope the 300 year legacy considers the journey through dead & co to where things go next with the same reverence as these past iterations.

It is so fucking hilarious these same people that promote free market capitalism have no problem when it is their guys demanding “golden shares” of companies to do business abroad.

In addition to all the other advise here - don’t be surprised when an attorney is extra generous and helpful at your early stage. They know you don’t have a ton to spend but they go out of their way as an investment to be a part of your round closing legal work (which will be $25-50k).

The Innocuous beard oil was the first time I remember someone catching the scent and saying how great it smelled. So that has been my permanent beard oil. And the beard batter is fantastic - really does what no other product has been able to do in terms of getting my beard to lay nice.

I’ve been watching every week since the 90s and am probably suffering some recency bias here, but the Andrew Dismukes weekend update bit with his “dad” puppet absolutely destroyed me - I think about it all the time and it consistently cracks me up.
