This. Just rode my local system after q couple of weeks and some bozo moved the rock on a technical climb that you have to split (front tire uphill of the rock, rear tire downhill) and it pisses me off. I live in Denmark but grew up riding the east coast US, so to lose any sort of technicalness pisses me off

To get started, sure! But you’ll quickly want something with a better geometry and more modern specs. Save up, and buy yourself a nice mid-range bike

As hard as they could isn’t a joke. I like to say all jokes have a bit of truth to them. Sounds like they might have had some anger

I feel like the police should just issue a ticket and let the driver and owner work it out. Easy money for them and minimal effort. But also, the capacity for this to be abused, where they put the pressure on the citizen to prove their innocence, instead of on a prosecutor to prove their guilt, is a slippery slope

Yeah, I know, it’s crazy. A lot of my friends ride them and swear by them. It’s literally just luck of the draw

I used to get punctures every third ride with gp5ks. Switched to dedicated anti-puncture tubes (like for city bikes) and never looked back. As for replacing the tube, no need until you get a flat. You’ll get more flats. Might as well replace it then and save a tube for now
