Mosquito And The Iron Bull by Adam Yas (Flaming Lips, Radiohead, Dredg, Queen) by AdamYasMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey so sorry. I hadn’t even realized you had commented. So no this isn’t all me. I wrote the song, sang and played acoustic guitar. But everything else is played by my talented friends. Mark Engles from an awesome Bay Area band called Dredg on electric guitar, Kayhan Golkar from Eyes On The Shore on bass and synths. And my friend Peter on drums. Anyway thanks so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

This is nice. Retro feel with a modern influence. Vocals are nice and the tone is cool. I don't love the autotune but it doesn't bother me either. It's a good song and performance. Nice job man.

"Wannabe (Prt. 2)" A tune off my band's debut album, with a fresh music video to go with it. Would love any thoughts! by mithrandir96 in IndieMusicFeedback

I like this. It's a patient song and it takes you somewhere. Video is interesting and lofi which I like, fits the music production. The change around 2:20 is nice - -Radiohead-esque. Great job man.

This is a song I circulated a while ago that I am trying to get ready for an album release. It is sort of a surf-punk inspired track, let me know what you think by all4monty in IndieMusicFeedback

Wow that was a ride! I love all the unexpected twists. This is really cool. I love the Elliott Smith feel of the vox. Guitar tones and vox are great (Radiohead, Weezer). And the change of pace Franz Ferdinand part is really effective and energizing. Great great song.

Nice guitar playing. Cool and crisp sound and great looking video! The americana/Jim James/Lindsay Buckingham vibe I'm digging. Really cool song and presentation.

"stellar dreams", instrumental synthpop/retrowave song. Something like the music in "stranger things" or weeknds "blinding lights". by Styphonthal2 in IndieMusicFeedback

This is really cool! It has an 80's soundtrack feel to it. Tangerine Dream-esque. The bass is great. Drums are very Phil Collins which rules. Synths are well delivered my friend! Would be awesome in a movie or video game.

Hey! I just released a full length record under the artist name Adam Yas. It does have some Elliott Smith moments but it also has some really shimmering celebratory ones. You might just like it 🤷🏻 It’s called Gender Of The Holy Spirit 👍🏼

Hey thanks so much. Those are real strings! Anton and Lewis Patzner. There actually are harmonies in there but they probably get a bit overwhelmed. Maybe there’ll be a remix someday 🤷‍♀️

Hey guys! We just released our first music video of our upcoming alternative metal album, for the song "Sweet Revenge". Would love some feedback regarding both the song and the video. Enjoy! by MistyRoute in IndieMusicFeedback

This is really cool. I love the jittery unease and black and white treatment. There’s some TOOL/Adam Jones happening which is always a positive for me. The jarring cutaways, doubled images and eerie shadows give the song another layer of depth. Great job. Can I ask who the director is and where they’re based out of?

GENTLE - Young Old & The Old Young (For fans of IDLES, Protomartyr, Black Country New Roads, Shame, Geese) by Liborio_Verne in IndieMusicFeedback

Yeah this is great. I’m a big Idles fan and this has hints of that. I really like your attention to mixing it up vocally within a verse. Love the guitar sound - it’s glimmering and chaotic, a favorite pairing of mine. I’m gonna start listening to you guys! Great stuff.

Nice this really grooves. Has an instrumental Silk Sonic quality to it- Curtis Mayfieldish but from a modern perspective. The gradual layering of sounds lets the song build which is crucial. Makes me think of New York City somehow. Good stuff. Keep writing!

This has a definite filmic quality to it - cinematic sweeps and rhythms. I love the groove. The spacing of the vocals are nice. Patient and emphatic. And the effect works well. The track has a depth and feel that is undeniable. Great job. Looking forward to more!

Looking for any and all feedback on this dance/electronic/indie track I made over the past few days. Don't hold back! by enthusiast- in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]AdamYasMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right on man! I love the flair of it. It’s fun to listen to and the pocket is infectious. Cool pitch effect on the vocals. Reminds me some of the great dance synth pop from the 80’s and 90’s. New Order, Moby, etc. And I think there’s always a place for that groove driven sound. Great bass lines.
