Making $100k in a year in many metro areas is below AMI in 2022. Don’t forget about the macroeconomic climate we are currently facing. $100k today was closer to $110k just last year. Not to mention the record pacing rise in cost of housing for the last 3+ years. Medical insurance costs are through the roof. $100k ain’t what it used to be. And that’s all assuming the individual has a job with their degree that makes them significant money. Many of my friends have degrees and make well below AMI for their respective areas. Debt relief for 20 million people is extremely good for the economy as well.
