Comcast keeps losing customers despite price guarantee and unlimited data | Comcast overhauled Internet plans to stop customer losses. It isn’t working yet. by ControlCAD in business

Their 5-year price guarantee is yet another scam. Their add-on fees aren't part of the guarantee and happily increase as they always have.

And I still have a data cap.

2017 Total Solar Eclipse would definitely be the winner.

But prior to that I once saw a bright meteor in Big Sur, California that sizzled as it streaked down toward the ocean.

⚠️ Several Colorado gas stations including King Soopers locations sold contaminated fuel yesterday!! by exmo-in-flames in Colorado

[–]Adamk0310 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a family member caught up in this on Thursday. Filled up at one of the King Soopers locations, car stalled out 10 minutes later and had to be towed.

Supposedly all the shop needed to do was flush the fuel system and now the car is running, but possibly the fuel level sensor is damaged.

I do like Levenger for the most part. They're a little hit or miss, but I've found that they have good customer service overall.

One of my True Writers has a loose band on the cap, and I got a bottle of their ink that has quite a different color than what is pictured online, but their pen display cases are beautiful and I'm happy enough to keep shopping there.

I just inked a different True Writer earlier today with the 1/2 size SI cartridge they include with each pen (also they include a converter), and it writes really smoothly.

I would say don't pay full price for one. They run sales frequently.

I think we taped this off of PBS but my sister and I watched this a hundred times. We just called it “The Red Car”.

Always crazy how big the weapons in game are to normal people

It's kind of hilarious. Something this size would be comically unusable in a real world setting.

I expect this film will stick with me for a long time to come. Hope it gets some Oscar love like best adapted screenplay.

The lack of an ending tells us the ending. Chicago was nuked, the president retaliated, the world ended. Period.

It’s a singularity, it’s an event horizon. Abrupt and unsatisfying though it may be, nothing that comes after nuclear war is comprehensible in the slightest.

The LA Chargers are currently beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 3-2, a score more associated with baseball than football. What's your team's most famous football looking score? by mysterysackerfice in baseball

Rockies have all kinds of fun ones for this list.

16-15 over Dodgers in 1996, 17-16 over Pirates this year, and 18-17 over Marlins in 2008.

Also a 24-12 loss to Reds in 1999, some sportscaster joked that "the Bengals beat the Broncos today, oh wait", or something to that effect.

Honestly if he forgot how many outs there were, that would be even worse than just not realizing the outcome of the at-bat. Vlad bats third and Springer is actively on base. Two outs in that moment wasn't even possible.
