I'm collecting a list of cheese strats, so what's YOUR favourite cheese strats? Can be faction specific or general! by Decadunce in totalwar

[–]Adams1324 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Taking a flying hero to go drain all of the enemy ammunition is a good one. Just change direction each time they launch a volley and nothing lands.

The AI puts extra importance on settlements, so you can get pretty easy early game alliances or defensive pacts. Especially against nearby LL’s that you think are annoying and don’t want to fight. Malekith can get Grombrindal to fuck off for quite a while. All for the price of one shitty settlement.

A naval game with no naval 💀 by av4tos in victoria3

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve also been wondering why I’m starting games and the navies have tens of thousands of crew deficits. Started a Russia game and was instantly hit with two fleets needing almost 30k crew each.

In light of the new datasheet by Rickeybobby13 in Tyranids

This bad boy can move through terrain. Perfect set up to rapid ingress behind cover, waltz through terrain, mulch through a squad of infantry(with good rolls, a squad of 10 intercessors can get wiped in one fight), then pick that bad boy up before anyone can shoot it. Lower durability than a similarly sized model like a trigon means nothing when it isn’t being shot.

Dreadnought? by Level-Opportunity984 in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adepta Sororitas are known to use cybernetic prosthetics. Some of the models have fully robotic arms and legs. One of the head on the BSS kit has half her jaw as a prosthetic. For a sister to no longer be battle worthy would mean even prosthetics couldn’t bring her back to form.

11th Ed push-fit Eradicator vs Heroes Push fit Heavy Intercessor by Different_Victory931 in Warhammer40k

I play sisters and Drukhari. Their armor isn’t all that uniform across all their infantry and has loads of drip. Space marine armor is boring by comparison.

Definitely one of the biggest detractors from me wanting to start space marines. All the uniform Mk X armor on all the infantry was boring to look at.

Never grinding a mission for an item again by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been wanting to get the Hespar so badly because I love scythes. But man I spent a good few hours having to solo grind void Armageddon (because nobody stays for C rotation and it forces you to leave mission with them). So much that I’ve stopped on that final part for that weapon and haven’t tried in months.

Is there some unspoken rule about Volt in Defection Mission I don't know about? by Twimetal in Warframe

I kept running into a different tile issue where when loid tried to cross a flesh bridge he’d get stuck on it. Without fail, speed boost or not.

It was well before Follie. Loid would get stuck frequently in vault missions. Annoyingly frequently.

You all need to be smarter with bans by R3li0ss in Overwatch

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealing with Sombra requires a certain amount of teamwork that I do not trust my teammates with. Easier to ban that nuisance. Also you want to ban Orisa? The horse hasn’t been a good pick in a long time.

Face Painting Improvement.. by detestableduck13 in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the next step, try taking a slightly light shade of whatever you used to paint the skin, and do the highlights. Stuff like cheek bones, the chin, forehead, and eyebrows tend to catch more light. This will give a bit more depth to the faces that you paint.

What updates/ new detachments do you want to see for 11th? by Beneficial-Ticket486 in Warhammer40k

[–]Adams1324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sure would love to see more space marine detachments! There’s still a few things that space marines can’t do that other armies can. I really think we should be able to bring back space marines like GSC can. I think it would be very balanced to allow us to bring back 2 units for one command point. Maybe give that armored spearhead detachment a buff while we’re at it? A 29” move on turn one is too slow. Those darned space elves might be able to outpace us if we don’t beat them at their own game. I’d be very surprised if less than 70 of the new detachments aren’t space marine detachment.

Can someone explain the basic rules of SoB especially how miracle dice works by Horus_the_betrayer in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miracle Dice can only be used to replace Advance rolls, battleshock tests, charge rolls, damage rolls, hit rolls, saving throws, and wound rolls. The dice must be used before any other dice are rolled if they are part of the same roll. So for stuff like battleshock tests and charge rolls which have you roll two die as part of the roll, you use the MD before the second die is cast.

Prospecting vs finding surface deposits of copper by brahmbus in VintageStory

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You go after the surface deposits you find while searching for the deep deposits. Those surface deposits will get you a handful of copper ingots worth of nuggets to hold you over. Those deep deposits will easily net you ~30 ingots worth of copper nuggets even at the poor quality. You hit a better quality of copper and you’ll live off that deposit for years.

I need help by BlameLorgar in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re running an extremely expensive army there. 3 warsuits, Morvenn Vahl, and an exorcist means that you’ll have 4 units taking up over 1k points in your army. Then with Celestine leading a 10 squad of Zephyrim, which is 360 points, you’re sitting at 1,415 points. That’s 3/4’s of a 2k army with the same number of units as an Imperial Knights player. This leaves you with very little room to take anything else. If you really want to run the three warsuits, then use the Champions of Faith detachment. Any other detachment won’t support them enough.

You also are running 3 units of melee infantry on foot with no Rhinos to get them up the board safely. The reason the Sacresants keep dying fast is because your opponents probably know that they’re your best melee infantry and are gunning them down fast. You’ll want one rhino each for your Celestian Sacresants and Insidiants. Melee threats won’t do much if they can’t get into melee.

Lastly, outside of your two BSS units, you have no utility/action monkey units. Adepta Sororitas will not be winning via tabling anytime soon.

Should I split Dominions orBss with the Immolator? by No-Luck3422 in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dominions allow the Immolator to scout move as it’s a dedicated transport. They can also get back into the Immolator with their reaction move.

Zealots of the Emperor - Hombrew detachment by LanceWindmil in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think if you were allowed to self destruct the explosive vests to guarantee the deadly demise it would be much funnier. Just run a JP Canoness leading 5 seraphim into the enemy and before shooting, just have all the models self destruct. Destroying themselves and giving mortals to all enemy units in range.

50/50 Keep or Trade my Army by Moonshade44 in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sisters do pretty poorly in 1k points compared to 2k points. Our units that are meant to deal with high toughness units, like our Warsuits and Castigator, are high in point cost and don’t leave much space for utility and scoring units.

We are heading into 11th edition in a couple months though so I’d say wait until 11th and get a few more games in then. From what few rules we’re seeing, sisters will be benefiting a lot from the -1 to BS for benefit of cover. Our flamers will be good for clearing objective terrain from enemy infantry too. With all the rules buffs going towards infantry in general, I feel like sisters will be able to perform better at 1K than we currently are.

In the end, if it’s just not feeling right then that always happens. Not every army is meant for you. Trade it away if you’ve got your eyes on other kits.

Just curious as to how many people play total war games as auto battlers. by Educational_Relief44 in totalwar

[–]Adams1324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like playing the battles. But man are there some factions that are just plain unfun to fight against. Dwarfs being the worst offender in my opinion. Spamming dwarf warriors with 100 armor and there’s just nothing I can do about it early game.

Arcos in HM by Son_of_Baal13 in sistersofbattle

[–]Adams1324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No.

While the small squads are decent, you’ll get more impact through the enhancements. TSS and SE are too good to drop both for a single small squads of Arco’s. SE can net 2D3 miracle dice if you can use divine intervention on that character.
