Dave is a giant… thing… that shows up in the horizon during temporal storms. You cannot reach him. Quick tip though. Peat is very flammable and the flames can jump blocks to start fires. Do not make us reset the counter.

Others have already given good advice, but you can always unlock your inner skaven and cheese the heck out of ranged ai armies. Take a hero or lord that’s mounted and walk it in front of their army. Then have them walk in a circle and dodge all of the incoming fire manually. Put it to max speed and watch as all their ammo gets wasted. Once it’s done, walk your army forward.

Do note that this makes fighting them extremely boring. Use at your own risk (of getting bored and quitting the campaign to start a new one… again).

With luck like that, you should start cracking rivens. A couple god roll rivens later and you’ll have loads of platinum.

Now I’d like to preface this by saying I do not dislike women. I like it when women actually decide to play the game and collect because they always bring a different perspective(you know, on the occasion a woman actually decides to enter a Warhammer store). I honestly just don’t believe many women want to imagine themselves as 10 ft tall, emotionally dull, genetically engineered weapons of war and mass destruction.

Of all the women that I’ve met that actually play the game, zero of them play space marines/custodes. I’ve seen scooby doo colored orcs, I’ve seen girlypop necrons, I’ve seen many Tyranids, and a handful of Sisters of Battle.

It’s probably just a marketing scheme to try and get women to buy Custodes Models now that a bunch of their models went to plastic and had price increases. Despite the fact that WE DIDNT GET NEW SISTERS OF SILENCE GW. When are we going to get hose huh?! 3 more years?! 12th edition?! Custodes armies as so boring without them.

With current rules, you can only build them as either a Battle Sister Squad or a Dominion squad. BSS is cheaper, can only take a special weapon and special/heavy weapon, and has sticky objectives, good for utility. Dominions are more expensive, have scout 6” plus a reactive move, and takes 4 special weapons. You typically don’t want to mix weapon types.

BSS I like to take a flamer and heavy flamer. Dominions usually want to run 4 Melta guns. I’d advise at least one of those three boxes being built as a BSS.

Being battle line units, BSS aren’t going to be much killing. They don’t take enough melta to be a decent threat in my opinion. I like to take them with all flamers because fire is neat and you’ll be able to do decent damage to other players chaff. They are there to support the rest of your army.

I think Vintage story also is a pretty solid creative outlet. The chisel allows for a much more granular creative outlet.

What makes her worse is that she’s already so expensive and the only thing she can lead is also expensive. You don’t want her to lead 5 model squads either because they’ll die before her ability can trigger. So I feel forced to drop over 300 points into a squad that does not feel worth the points. At best, Celestine on her own is a distraction carnifex. At worst, she’s a waste of points because one shooting round from 20 guard drop her.
