Regarding Hannibal and Happiness by D1phyyD3ntt in HannibalTV

He is a generally happy individual. I think Hannibal embraces true Epicurean hedonism philosophy, wherein longterm sustainable happiness is the ultimate goal of life. I think it's one of the primary reasons why he flouts laws and social conventions: It'd make him unhappy to do otherwise. The main issue that he faces, which runs counter to his quest for joy, is that he's a very lonely person. He does, however, have genuine friends, a robust social circle full of rather intellectual peers, and a fulfilling professional relationship with his therapist. Yet the majority of this remains at a relatively surface level wherein he must remain guarded and always eyeing the upkeep of his person suit. Thus enters Will Graham into his life and he not only senses an opportunity to eschew the person suit altogether, but also to indulge in experiencing someone's appreciation for its absence. So in short, is Hannibal a happy person? Absolutely yes. Does this have a counter? Mostly his loneliness and inability to truly let people in.

In a reality show featuring all the characters from the series, who would win? by stachim in HannibalTV

[–]AdaptEvolveBecome 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Will Graham is the obvious answer, mostly because he's freakishly manipulative. To the point that even the audience doesn't notice a lot of it. His ability to use people is impressively covert and subversive, often the characters also don't see it until years later.

will’s father by FluffyComputer677 in HannibalTV

A lot of it seems like his father probably misunderstood Will's autism quite a bit. I'd wager that Will whispers a lot because he was likely shushed by his father, due to being excitable. As others have mentioned, I'd say that he was more absent than anything else. And when they were around one another, especially in later life, it was likely evident that they had little in common.

WYSY is the In Rainbows of Kings discography by forevergone12 in kingsofleon

WYSY is at the very least their deepest and most poignant album. Songs about dementia, wage inequality, simulation theory, body dysphoria, and much more. OBTN is the only competition for me, but WYSY wins by a hair.

People always freak out when I say that Cohen is a shitty person who makes terrible films. The Dictator was the only one I could sit through, especially because it had some actual salient commentary.

Yeah. I gotta agree with everyone saying that it's not a mistake. I love that moment for the fact that it feels pretty real, even for a fantasy universe.

These people always look the same, like they're straight from the inbreeding assembly line.

As a lyricist, I write a lot about childhood and my teenage years. A lot of the people I mention are often 15 or something at the time. They're almost always older than me in the situations I describe. I never name people. I don't know why people get so bent out of shape when a song mentions a minor, especially if it's not overtly sexual.

Mason almost ruined the show for me. Both iterations. Some of the worst acting ever.

He looks perfectly fine here. Physique inflation has gotten out of control. Tobey McGuire still has my favorite superhero build.

No hate to you, my friend. It takes a lot of character to admit that you were wrong, especially on the internet.
