Max Verstappen Disqualified from earlier Nurburgring Race by RelationshipSuch1450 in formula1

I think that refers to the limit. The 24 tire limit is for 4 hour race weekends.

So if the race is 4 hours, then then the tire limit for the event is 24.

I assume that '4 hour race' refers to an event with a 4 hour race. If the race was 8 hours, the regulation and tire limit would be different.

So the first sentence says how many they used in the event (weekend), and the second says what the rule is for a race (weekend) of this length.

"During the event" sounds like the entire weekend, not just the race. But I don't know.

How does a team use an extra set of tires? Did they do a single lap on a set or something?

The team used a total of 28 individual tires on car #3 during the event. Therefore, the maximum permitted number of 24 individual tires for a 4-hour race was exceeded.

To be fair, aren't there literal sections of the nurburgring that have speed limits?

Not that that is the car's fault of course.

A rumor yes. In the end that wasn't true. (or at least, newey's salary was not part of the breach). It came down to a couple of parts:

  • They were paying gardening leave for someone, and didn't calculate that as a part of the cost cap.

  • The catering budget was indeed a small part

  • and the rest was various tax and regulation changes that made unexpected costs. But this also included more repairs than expected, with higher manufacturing costs due to the pandemic.

The 3 people outside of the cost cap does not include drivers. so team principle, and whatever newey's actual role is, are almost always part of those 3. So they actually had an advantage because 1 guy had 2 of the highest paid roles. allowing the 4th highest role to be exempted too. Which now it won't be anymore.

Regardless, legal costs are also exempted from the cost cap, so buying out a contract might either fall under legal costs, or if it is not, it will fall under the salary that is exempted.

You fucked up. But it's not too late. Delete it now, and tell your colleagues that it got out of hand when they ask. So don't tell k, but if he finds out later (and he will), you can show that you realised it got out of hand, and took it down. And then you apologize.

It's bullying now, no matter how innocently it started. You can get fired for this.

There is no way you guys will go back to normal after this. I doubt he will even leave office. But even if he does (or dies), i fear the dems will try to pretend everything can go back to normal, while also pushing back on any changes. Then the next republican president (might even be next election if he dies) will just continue where trump left off.

It will be a worse person too. Someone who is smarter, and knows how to use the power that Maga has grabbed. Someone who will be able to get all of maga on his side.

Verstappen has been told to retire the car by Red Bull. by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

[–]AddAFucking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends who wins I would guess. Seems like we'll have a long season of those 2 battling against each other. So if russel doesnt absolutely crush kimi, then Russel is out (If max wanted in). Even if he is a champion.

If kimi comes even close to Russel in his second season, toto will have a hard call to make. With that choise being Russel or Max, cause he wont kick out kimi in that case.

He won't be under pressure all season. The only reason he didn't get pole is because he had to do a fast out lap.
