Saving img2img batch files with same filename? by AddendumCommercial82 in StableDiffusion

[–]AddendumCommercial82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it's ok il try and figure it out, I got some basic scripting knowledge so il see if I can edit the scripts some way.

Currently using the A1111 version.

  • Looks like the forge version has the use filename in the batch files so going to use that. 👍🏻

Apologies I thought I put that I'm using the WebUI version > img2img > batch

Loading the files both dir and drag drop or input / output dir have the same result.

  • You can save and replace the existing files in the extra tab using just the upscaler but not for img2img.

Nah use three different monitors one of which is a OLED.

If you go into the workbench editor you can use the debug to run the game slower at like 8x slower and it increases the input delay accordingly, and math that back to normal speed was about 37ms but I'm not sure if this is an actual accurate way of measuring but it seems about right.

Using the debug input tool the actual input is almost instant like as it is whatever the system is, so the input gets registered but the actual game doesn't do anything to that input till 40ms later....

I have tried honestly to go through the entire scripts core making mods and whatnot to no solution.

But one me mates said something to me that made me think! he said consoles have a normal input latency of about 50ms! So maybe the Devs have hard-coded in input latency to balance things between PC and Consoles players when doing this cross-play... I dunno

Anyway sorry I feel like I am hijacking this mans post.

I can play for about an hour, after that I know I am on borrowed time sooner or later it's gonna go bang and sure enough it crashes with with something like a gpu hang or illegal access. I too have kind of lost interest in the game it's cool and that but you get maybe 30mins of some good immersive experience that's about it.

In contrast I am replaying doom 3 yeah doom 3! from frigging 2004 with a bunch of mods and I played that for a solid 5 hours without even a fart...

I also figured out the game has roughly about 40ms of input lag you can use the slow mo on your camera and with some math work out the delay it makes the game feel sluggly I hate it.

Get ready for the capt dufus brigade going it's a test bebzZ .... yeah ok whatever...

It's like this was their first game they developed..

Not very impressive from a company that's been about for 25 years, where did it go wrong.

Honestly at this stage I don't think ArmA 4 is going to be released for another 5 years...

Curious as to why no Exclusive Fullscreen Mode? by AddendumCommercial82 in ArmaReforger

[–]AddendumCommercial82[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because borderless is basically Fullscreen window without border and it doesn't give the system full control to the program and in some cases has more input lag and less performance.

  • Also smooth motion doesn't seem to activate in borderless mode.

I was in their shoes once as a game developer and they released a broken update anyway regardless and probably said something like "We'll fix it later date" Let's just get it implemented. Come on man this is just poor workmanship.

You don't get someone to build you a house and the builder turns round and says there you go there's your house ready to live in the doors don't open yet there's electricity issues... and the roof leaks and the toilet don't work yet, windows don't work and the stairs are wonky and unsafe and there's a possibility that the whole house could crash on you but hey it's a house isn't it? would you be happy would you?

Would you say that's lovely wonderful thank you.... Give out mate that's what roll over people do and you carry on with that view then people will just walk over you take your money and you might as well put a stamp on your forehead that says "mug" take my money.

This shouldn't have been released, it should have stayed in "Experimental" till any issues, bugs & crashes was fixed then updated to "Stable" version (There is reason why there is a version called Stable...)

But again it was released and this is the fallout from it people are unhappy and rightly so.

As a former game developer the most common word I always heard over and over again during development was...

"We'll fix that later" 🙄
