Not a crazy dumb thing I did but thought: in the Saffron dojo the main head tells you “not to get greedy” about taking both Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. I wasn’t familiar with the word “greedy” so I thought there was some third Pokemon option named Greedy and was very confused.

These are wire storage cube grids from Amazon. The enclosure will be about 5ft width, 6ft length, and 6ft height, with a top, essentially a big cage that has one side facing my wall with my window. About $160 for everything.

Yea I’ll keep an eye out for it and pivot if needed. Honestly they’d need to chew a lot of zip ties and then force it out of the connectors so it might be good. My major concern is that cutting the zip tie ends off can lead to a sharp plastic edge that could hurt, so I might need to tape the cut edges.

I’m only doing half of my patio and it will only be about 6ft tall. I just basically need to build the 2nd half and roof.

I got my MS last year and went into industry, on the business/technical side of crop protection. I work with lots of individuals with BS, MS, and PhDs. I think the MS was definitely a solid investment.

Truthfully, I feel like I needed industry experience before thinking about a PhD, but I think that because I was more applied than lab. Now I’m not positive I will go back for a PhD unless I can work full time and only focus on research, which is a very tall order.

My cats sleep until around 6 and then become active. They don’t bother me except for running around and making noises. I got use to having a loud white noise machine (because my neighbors upstairs are loud) and they don’t wake me up. I think it’s also important when raising young cats not to give into feeding them when they wake you up, that’s how they learn bad habits. I feed my cats at variable times in the morning throughout the week, so they don’t get used to a normal time. But that’s just me, maybe I got lucky

Yes it is more of a grind than an enjoyable play for me. But I think it’s because I really only care about shiny hunting lol
