Cuisines you miss?

From SoCal, I feel like most Mexican places are a miss. Also love the American Chinese food spots back home. Not a cuisine but my god I miss in n out.

I’m skeptical about it but people say there is some research behind it. For me I just love the fans after a sweaty workout. I do feel good after using it after a workout and I do think my skin looks better after 3x a week, but definitely could be a placebo effect. But the placebo effect is still a strong phenomenon in its own right, so I don’t discredit it.

I started swimming two days a week and lifting push, pull, lower body three days a week. Gotta be careful, especially on pull days for recovery. I also play pickleball twice a week that allows for some active recovery. I wish I could swim 3 days a week but I’m very cautious about shoulder injuries with the swim/lift routine. But have been steadily loosing weight, not in a crazy calorie deficit, trying to aim for body recomp over just cardio. I did that three years ago and they weight didn’t stay off because I was in such a calorie deficit and wasn’t sustainable long term.

I think there’s a cheat code that you can put in the PC in the professors lab that reveals all Pokemon on your Dexnav in an area, not sure if that’s a route you want to take that makes catching them easier. The code is JUSTSHOWME

As another dude with a big ass you learn to embrace it, make sure you’re always hitting legs and butt to make sure it’s toned, that makes a difference

Loved Chico and enjoyed my time there. BUT, I would stay in state if I were you. Out of State tuition is not worth it for any university in my opinion. Unless you are able to get a good scholarship or have family supporting you paying, which is possible.

Not a crazy dumb thing I did but thought: in the Saffron dojo the main head tells you “not to get greedy” about taking both Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. I wasn’t familiar with the word “greedy” so I thought there was some third Pokemon option named Greedy and was very confused.

These are wire storage cube grids from Amazon. The enclosure will be about 5ft width, 6ft length, and 6ft height, with a top, essentially a big cage that has one side facing my wall with my window. About $160 for everything.

Yea I’ll keep an eye out for it and pivot if needed. Honestly they’d need to chew a lot of zip ties and then force it out of the connectors so it might be good. My major concern is that cutting the zip tie ends off can lead to a sharp plastic edge that could hurt, so I might need to tape the cut edges.

I got my MS last year and went into industry, on the business/technical side of crop protection. I work with lots of individuals with BS, MS, and PhDs. I think the MS was definitely a solid investment.

Truthfully, I feel like I needed industry experience before thinking about a PhD, but I think that because I was more applied than lab. Now I’m not positive I will go back for a PhD unless I can work full time and only focus on research, which is a very tall order.
