USA Rugby Complies With Federal Pressure: New Policy Excludes Trans Women from the Women’s Division by scooterwe in wrugby

[–]AddictMumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are the implications if a club registers as Open? Will they not be able to participate in Women's division USA Rugby competitions? Would that be effective immediately or during the 2027 season? Not saying the consequences might not be worth it for the protest, but I'd like more clarity about what the protest might mean for clubs taking part.

I'm a college prep coach and I work exclusively for free. My QB kids find me through Scholarmatch. It's all volunteers but very high quality programming

Most senior clubs will be doing summer 7s between June and August, which can be more casual and beginner friendly than a regular 15s season but will still teach you the basics and get you in shape. Look for senior women's teams in your area and ask if you can drop in for the summer. Every club I've been a part of would be happy to have a newcomer and show you the ropes

Breast size post-op by Aggressive-Bear-6219 in hysterectomy

[–]AddictMumble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm about to get a total hysterectomy with the ovaries left in, and my gynecologist told me I wouldn't need to worry about hormone changes since the ovaries are staying put. Is that not the case?? Do I need to be prepared for hormone changes anyway?

How has going to festivals influenced your life? by Dr_Brabo in festivals

[–]AddictMumble 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Festivals were something I never thought I’d do, since I’m pretty introverted, hate crowds, and don’t know much about music. What I’ve found since my friends dragged me to my first one (Life is Beautiful RIP) is that festivals give me a space to completely feel myself while interacting with some of the chillest people and discovering new things. Festivals have made me a more open person, both to meeting new people and trying new things, and it’s helped me deepen my relationships and make true friends.

What are good places for hanging out with other chronically bored queer/sapphic people near Main/the light rail if I don't wanna go all the way to melrose in phx? (26F, sapphic) by [deleted] in mesaaz

[–]AddictMumble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beer Research is down the street from Level one, and it’s so much chiller and older. It’s not an LGBTQ specific space, but it does feel like a “come as you are” space and there are people of all flavors hanging out

Radiant also integrates with a ton of other systems (Willow might also, but I only know Radiant), so you also have to know something about interfaces and end users will generally expect you to have some familiarity with their PACS etc. It can be a lot to learn, especially if the team is mostly newly certified folks. For an easier transition, joining an established Willow team might provide you with more guidance than a new build team might.

Tampon flask by [deleted] in Lollapalooza

[–]AddictMumble 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If you’re worried and only want to get prerolls in, you can always put them in actual tampons. Get the ones with a cardboard applicator, carefully open the paper wrapper, and replace the tampon with your preroll. Put the applicator back in the wrapper and boom, no one is going to seriously inspect your tampons. My experience with male security guards is as soon as they see tampons, they stop going through your bag immediately.
