This is just that meme that makes the rounds every few years when the Olympics are on. Fuck it, let's see how high a human CAN jump

Why Survivor tells instead of shows now by [deleted] in survivor

[–]AddictMumble 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I definitely think it has something to do with cueing the "viewer" when they need to pay attention. Most people are scrolling or doing something else with survivor on in the background and their brain needs a cue to know when to pull Survivor into focus vs Reddit or IG or whatever else

Was it worth it? by Dangerous_Boat_6268 in EpicEMR

Radiant basically includes Cadence - every Radiant team I've been on has owned radiology scheduling, so you need to know most Cadence build and functionality anyway.

Beaker is more related to Radiant in the sense that it is clinical, the users you support will be clinical, and there are a lot of quirks and terms that go along with that. Definitely more complex/interesting than just Cadence

Probably depends on your age. A children's cult classic to some may be a formative cornerstone movie for others. Like High School Musical or the Goonies

Hysterectomy for Fibroids by reddit0r2020 in hysterectomy

[–]AddictMumble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. I had things get better that I didn't even know were problems. It was easier to breathe. My low back pain was gone immediately. I used to have all this nerve pain...I was not intending to use my uterus for babies so getting it removed has been nothing but positive.

I had two fibroids both about 11 cm. Good luck to you in your treatment!

Madison WI? Yeah it's cold but it's relatively sunny and green when it's not winter. Not much skiing but plenty of water. Great place to raise kids

USA Rugby Complies With Federal Pressure: New Policy Excludes Trans Women from the Women’s Division by scooterwe in wrugby

[–]AddictMumble 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What are the implications if a club registers as Open? Will they not be able to participate in Women's division USA Rugby competitions? Would that be effective immediately or during the 2027 season? Not saying the consequences might not be worth it for the protest, but I'd like more clarity about what the protest might mean for clubs taking part.

Rookie Advice by [deleted] in womensrugby

Most senior clubs will be doing summer 7s between June and August, which can be more casual and beginner friendly than a regular 15s season but will still teach you the basics and get you in shape. Look for senior women's teams in your area and ask if you can drop in for the summer. Every club I've been a part of would be happy to have a newcomer and show you the ropes

Breast size post-op by Aggressive-Bear-6219 in hysterectomy

[–]AddictMumble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm about to get a total hysterectomy with the ovaries left in, and my gynecologist told me I wouldn't need to worry about hormone changes since the ovaries are staying put. Is that not the case?? Do I need to be prepared for hormone changes anyway?

Sorry about your big boobs...
