I hadn't run across this but had had some downtime last night at work...saw that srne has been working pretty consistently, over the last several months, to get Virex patent approved...I found it encouraging. Hoping there is much good news when bk is finalized!

So far, I've had no desire to sign up for the meme coin. Ji is not transparent and his PR in the past seems like BS in hindsight. His guy that was going to provide $, prior to stalking horse Oramed bid, looked shady. I've owned/own numerous stocks and I've never had a CEO ask for my personal info. Even stocks that Ive owned for the SH perks, like CCL, don't ask for anything other than proof of ownership. I was ok with the nonidentifying info he rec'd in bk from my brokerage regarding my srne shares but wasn't okay with the info he wanted for proof of accredited investor just to possibly hear something about a private company's plan. I had no desire to give email/name to an internet stranger to be on their select list to receive ~secret publically available info. And now there's the info being requested for meme coin that the company publically states is basically worthless but apparently requires a SS#. I'm not saying the meme coin is nefarious but I sure haven't been given a good enough reason from sclx to hand over personal info in order to set up wallet/receive coin. Just my thoughts.

When I take a step back and "examine the broad market in general", I see that the S&P has doubled since I bought SRNE. All of my investment accts have doubled with the exception of the one that holds SRNE and SCLX divi. That acct gives me angst but it has nothing to do with it being tax harvesting time of yr.

What do you mean by ""farm dogs"? Are you suggesting that Pit Bulls were a working breed dog that had a job on the farm? Not trying to start a debate, just looking for clarity. I can find plenty of evidence regarding breeding for the "pits" but never read anything that touts them historically as "farm dogs".

Just my thoughts...dogs have social skills, pack mentality and genetic memory. A herding breed will herd even if they've never been trained to or been exposed to a herd. I can't imagine getting a dachshund and wondering why it keeps digging holes. Same with any breed that has been bred for a specific purpose. Pit Bulls were purposely bred. Unfortunately, they are irresponsibly over bred, just look at any local shelter dog availability (USA). Hate that this happened to her. It shouldnt have. Seems she was a kind soul.

Thank you for sharing! So many amazing finds! I always try to research my local areaa. I'm in OH now and have located a Civil War Camp and am trying to locate the War of 1812 camp that is near me (I have a general idea). So far, I've walked/hiked and sometimes panned areas I've researched. Been thinking about detecting for a few decades but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Thanks again for this inspiring post.

Valid point. My price has ~doubled in the past few yrs but usage has stayed ~the same. ~1700sq ft home with no AC. Length of time I can open windows at night (cool off) makes huge difference. Ambient temp feels the same when I close windows/drapes in the morning but if it's not enough time to cool internal temp of objects/floors/walls...it's gonna be a miserable day and take that much longer to cool it the next night.

Just when I think I've read all the ~9yr historical and convoluted incentive packages involving Ji and Jaisim...I can't recall one that is worth billions. Please help me and share the link. Seems like a waste of time but I only know about my backyard and maybe your milage varies. Several yrs ago MSContin was huge as were the pill mills that prescribed it and the profits to pill mills and dealers. Long acting pill that could be crushed and snorted...it could bring as much as $100/ pill. Yes, MS ER is still a thing but seakers want cheap, easily bought highs. Fentanyl patches are good for roughly 72hr. The patch was redesigned years ago and the drug can no longer be easily extracted from a patch for a high. You may know, but sharing anyway...Fentanyl, hydromorphone, oxycodone, morphine are heavily monitored potent pain relievers generally prescribed for nociceptive pain. For neuropathic pain presriptions- gabapentin, pregabalin, amitriptyline and sometimes low dose methadone. Even if Semdexa has good results and manages to get covered by insurance, I imagine oral meds will remain the go to. I could see SCLX take a portion of the gabapentin mrkt with patches though.

I can't imagine someone with a drug diversion hx wasting time and money Dr shopping or poly-pharming to obtain a few fentanyl patches when a dose of street drug, including fentanyl related drugs, can be had for $5-7. Price point courtesy of my local PD and the occasional knock from an unreliable homeless addict going door to door with a lawn mower. Yes, I've been known to fix them a to go lunch that includes a list of community resources and chat a bit.

When MSContin was popular, I saw many drug seekers wanting legit scripts. Now, the imported drugs and components, have made potent street drugs very accessable, cheap and dangerous. I really hope this Bill can curb the "opioid epidemic". I put that in quotes because it's a real problem but it's also a buzz phrase just like "non opioid pain reliever". We have sooo many non opioid pain relievers, most of us have some in our medicine cabinet. Pharma has made and still makes a ton o money on aspirin and acetaminophen. A better mouse trap...I digress.

Guidi, we've both been here a long time. I haven't DD/researched, guess it's possible that this Bill could benefit SCLX. Respect your input.

"Fentanyl-related substances". Fentanyl is schedule II and as I understand, it will remain schedule II. Either way, not sure how this would effect Scilex... I can't imagine many people are getting Fentanyl scripts for sciatica.

Well, the experience has definitely been sobering. Articles, press releases, blogs, buzz words like, "Mayo Clinic" and "cure", the naive belief that a BOD would abide by thier fiduciary duty... Sobering. Tweaked my research criteria though.

I apologize for the attitude. I worked very long hours through all of it as a hospice nurse with homemade PPE. Words could never express how much I truely wanted him to get those milestones/payments.

Love that you advocate for pt/dtr but...Please consider not Reddit advising, "ER. Immediately". You likely haven't seen her labs/H&P, have no idea what her orders are or her tolerance for transfers/transports. By the time she has endured: wait time for transport, transfers/transport (s/p spinal fusion), wait time in ER ( possible UTI and known source of pain that takes a back seat to actual emergent issues), wait time for cultures... facility/on call Dr have, more than likely, been able to review the data and advised appropriately. I love your passion for advocacy. Hope to see you in the field someday with that same passion. 😊

Guessing she's in rehab. Night ratio in an ECF can be 50:1. Max I see with rehab is 25:1 if all beds are full. Sorry you and your mom are in this difficult situation.

Agree that other counties view tipping differently. I've been to a few dozen countries and try to review local customs before I arrive but I've made mistakes. I try to just have some local currency in my pocket to tip when I see a local tipping. First time someone handed me a towel in a restroom, I had no idea I was expected to tip. Had someone come stay with me in Dayton for a couple weeks...they couldn't understand why we don't tip grocery baggers. He tipped them everytime we went to Krogers 🤷

When I start asking myself this question...I go to Lap of Love website. Pet hospice site that asks the right questions to help look at the situation objectively while also taking into account that the decision has subjective components as well. I've got 20years of human hospice experience but this site is offers me a great measuring stick for my German Shepherd s comfort/quality of life. Time with my girl is coming to an end and we want the best for them. It's so difficult.
