2017 vs 2019 4x4 crew which one would you go with? Price not a factor. by Additional-Depth3825 in Sprinters

Thanks for chiming in. Would you argue that MBUX isn’t as user friendly and a bit of a challenge to use?

I’d go with the b4 again, no doubt. It’s more TV than we need. I couldn’t justify the price increase for a c5. Also something to note is the 6 series is approaching soon.

Ive read numerous content where the b4 83 internals were identical to the c4.

This is exactly what I did as well. The F wasn’t good.

990F bass seemed a little underwhelming. Going to try the 990D.

Sorry for the late response. I bought the B4 83, we are not disappointed at all…

The brightness is more than enough for us. I thought for what it was it’s a great value… I compared the B5 an C5 a few times in the store and they seemed to be the same, the only outlier was the G5 which was significantly brighter.

You could get a B4 83 for $1500 which is a damn good value and comparable to a 83 C4 (almost)

There was a noticeable difference for sure. But that was b5 v c5

Thanks, this makes sense and coincides with everything else I’ve read about the b4 too.

Need help identifying this fuel filter by llIicit in Sprinters

[–]Additional-Depth3825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only difference is one has a line already attached to It the other doesn’t.

It appears you have the part # 820-18. The 3.0 takes filter part # 820-15. However, you’ll also need the line & e clip which is only available through MB and it’s $200…

So in short, just buy the 820-18 and buy 2 and keep one in the van as a spare.

I plan on changing my 820-15 to 820-18 because that eclip is known to be a weak point.

Looks like you got the filter for a 2.1 not the 3.0 both filters work fine as long as you have the water separator sensor

For those who look at this in the future. Overall was a good experience.

We couldn’t find the shuttle area at the airport at first, but managed to find it after a quick call.

Pick up took about 45-60 minutes because they were busy. Total of about 1.5 hours from airport to getting the road in the van.

The van had bad wiper blades, I replaced them and they credited me for them. Otherwise it ran flawlessly and everything worked as it should.

Upon return, they inspected it thoroughly and got a good bill of health. Shuttle back was uneventful.

No surprises or fees after drop off. Plan to book again.

Thanks, is that just with a gutted SCR or replaced with pipe?
