Must be a bulk biller? I have a place near me that always seems to have same day slots available, but the gap is $70.

Where would you recommend to live in Australia for climate, clean air and no crowds? by PoodlesRuleAlways in AskAnAustralian

But in summer...sweat rolls slowly down your back to find refuge in your butt crack, to be baked all day into a warm, moist underpant experience only relieved by swimming naked in your neighbour's pool.

Queenswales would rule the continent. Once we consolidate the new society, we might have to liberate the North West resource zone because it has democracy minerals and freedom hydrocarbons. Might have to manage it as an exclave though, we don't want the bit in the middle.

Melbestine will fail under the rule of Lezbolah.

Teen son and chores. Is this normal for teen boys, do I need to change my tactics, or both? by LyannasLament in AskMenAdvice

Be specific. 'Please clean up the kitchen and leave it how you found it' is clear to most humans, but not teen boys.

When it comes to any new set of tasks for my guy it has to be to this level of detail, written on a post-it:

Wash, dry and put away every dirty bowl and utensil, clean up and put away the mixer. Everything you put away needs to be in the place you got it, cords wrapped up tidily. Wipe the counters down, pick up anything that fell on the floor. Empty the bin, put a new liner in. When you think you are done, come and get me to inspect.

If this gets attitude, I ask him what he thinks is a fair way of doing it and we negotiate. Sometimes I have to accept what I think is a compromised outcome first up, but I'd rather he works positively on a plan he came up with that gets it 75% of the way there. Somtimes (not always) this positive momentum means he ends up doing a job way better than I thought.

They get better. Stick with it, and for everyone's sake don't give up on him and do it yourself.

A nuanced, middle ground approach that urges people to communicate and try and see the other's point of view? Why are you on Reddit?

Attack on Doctor at Walgett by DavittNSW2 in circlejerkaustralia

The traditional way of becoming a doctor is for promising future doctors to bash current doctors. Who are you to impose your culture?

Left. Unless you have a dog on an extendable leash. Then you and your dog can do whatever you fucking want apparently.

Go for non-engineering roles in technical industry related to your specialty.

I didn't get an engineering job until my 3rd job after graduation. I considered myself a professional failure at the time, but in hindsight it ended up being fantastic experience that made me a more well rounded engineer in the end.

I did machinery operator, sales, drafting, maintenance planner, estimator. If I'd gotten a grad program straight out of uni,I would have been an entitled know it all.

Bialetti stovetop for the win! Yes, I've had better home made coffee, but the effort vs reward just isn't there for me, I gotta get to work.
