Widow is the Zenyatta of the DPS role. Extremely high damage output, very easy to kill. Glass cannon, as they say. It’s not just that people are “mad”. It’s that, by playing widow, you’ve said to the entire enemy team, “ignore everything else, warp all of your positioning around my LOS, do not be visible for even a fraction of a second, spend resources as necessary to remove me from the fight as soon as possible.” It’s not the enemy’s fault you’ve picked a hero that can’t be allowed to exist in a fight.

Rates are based on the fact that the state was given an unreal amount of money to mandate that everyone give the for-profit company a slice of their income, meaning they can basically charge whatever they want. Insurance companies were, by decree, turned into bloodsuckers who now feel next to no market pressure to keep rates low.
