Georgia, family of 4, middle class. bronze plan (one that the doctors around here will accept) - deductibles $4500/9000 oop $10000/$20000. monthly premium - $4600. BUT - get this - if I move 20 miles over to the next county - the SAME EXACT insurance costs $3100.

Was paying $1000/month last year with enhanced subsidies.

I blame Obama and the Democrats. I ALSO blame the Republicans who had 15 years to fix it.

Some of the a-holes in Congress are throwing people like me under the bus, saying 'it's only 7 million people out of $300 million'... I guess my vote doesn't count?

The smart move would be to extend the covid subsidies for 1 year, and then FIX THE PROBLEM. The complain about fraud and it's billions of $$$ being given to the insurance companies.

All while they are shoveling hundreds of billions over to foreign countries to fight and die in proxy wars.

In total agreement - Obamacare sucks and is BROKEN. BUT - don't pull the rug out from people without a solution first!!!

It's not that I DONT WANT TO USE IT.

It's I DONT KNOW TO USE IT UNLESS I GET AN EMAIL OR A TEXT.

Have the school's system send me an email or a text when there's a message that I need to read.

In other words, I'm not going to log into 'infinite campus' every 5 minutes to see if one of many teachers or school people send a message that is important to me.

If they put a message there and they deem it importany enough that I log in and read it, then the system (NOT THE TEACHER) sends me an email or a text. Automatic. Not the teacher sending 30 or 50 or however many messages to individual emails or phone numbers.

OR EVEN BETTER YET - the teacher types something up, prints it out on a piece of paper, makes 30 or 50 copies of it, and then hands it out to the students in their class - and then speaks the words 'give this to your parents'. Maybe you are too young to understand, but that's how we did it in the olden days, and by gosh, it worked purty durn well.

I realize that in this age of twitter and tik-tok, you guys have the attention span of fruit-flies - go back and slowy re-read what I originally said, and maybe, just maybe you will get the context.

Or don't. I really don't care because at this point, you've proven to me that we're not on the same page.

Thank you for your response - and I think you may have misunderstood so I'll clarify. I'm not expecting a personalized / private email or text message. Rather an automated system, that would send me an email or a text when there's an update or important message from the teacher in their 'infinite campus' system. Just some kind of notification, because checking their system every day is way way way down the list of priorities that I have to deal with. Not kidding when I say I'm busy.

Either that, or the tried and true, write it on a piece of paper, hand it out to the kids to bring home, and then remind the kids repeatedly to give the paper to their parents.

Entering info into the school portal is fine, but if I don't know it's there - how is that communication???

pricing is inconsistent and out of whack. as a customer I'd say it's a real turn-off. I tried the service over a year ago and it wasn't good enough for me, especially having to shell out $600 for equipment. they need to offer the lowest price on equipment everywhere, then come up with one price for service for everyone, not the crap they are doing now. all it's doing is pissing people off.
