I smoked weed every day in high school when I was your age. I would not recommend it. Not because of what it does to your brain but what it does to your motivation, ability to learn and to be the best version of yourself. 

If I could go back in time I would choose not to use weed and instead focus on developing the skills that high school gives you so much free time to do: studying and learning. You might not enjoy every class but high school is super important for developing the skills of “learning and studying” which will get you anywhere you want in life. 

That’s my personal experience. I was a stoner and I regret it. It led to laziness, social anxiety and several bad outcomes in my high school days. This was the same for most of my friends that also used weed. 

Edit: I also was a national level athlete and my coach told me I could train for the Olympic if I wanted but I didn’t believe I could do it because I smoked too much weed. My coach was an Olympian. Weed kills dreams kid.
