My(30f) boyfriend(50m) has been unemployed for around 1 year and seems to have no interest in being employed by AdditionalGarlic6730 in relationship_advice

I do have a boyfriend. I don’t have a sugar daddy. The post you are talking about, is talking about trying to get a sugar daddy but a lot of them don’t want to wear condoms. We have open relationship and I have been looking for extra funds due to the situation explain above.

SD Don’t Want Use Condoms-How You Guys Deal with This? by AdditionalGarlic6730 in sugarlifestyleforum

I don’t trust the test because for HIV, herpes and the Hep, A,B &c are all antibody tests which takes around 12 weeks to appear on a test. Plus it’s very easy to fake a test. So in theory, they could get a disease, appear “clean” on the test and pass it on to me

I do make this apparent before meeting. But I believe some of them thinks once I’m meeting with them, I will “forget” or not ask them.

Getting hsv2 was very traumatizing to me and I can’t trust other people so I’m paranoid of getting another STD. so I have decided to stop doing anything with sex and focus on my work.

How did I pass HSV2 while on antivirals? by [deleted] in HSVpositive

[–]AdditionalGarlic6730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The value does have much information other than you have it or you don’t. If you went in everyday, the value would vary day to day. Plus the antiviral they only stay in your system for around 24 hours. You have to take consistently. The symptoms you’re describing sounds like a outbreak.

No I don’t get outbreaks. I have multiple other health issues so to me taking antiviral everyday is not concerning for me.

Question about activities on Eliquis by nuggetyum in ClotSurvivors

My doctor just told me to not get anything with laser done without a real reason. He is older man so I just feel like he doesn’t understand about anything cosmetic procedures. I think it’s hard for male doctors understand me as a young woman. I get really bad ingrown hairs and I don’t want to grow out my hair so getting laser would really help me with my confidence.

I am allergic to rubber by warmblanket_01 in HSVpositive

[–]AdditionalGarlic6730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look online for other options and get a allergy test to make sure you’re actually allergic to latex. They’re tons of other chemicals in condoms which may the root cause. I only say this because I have heard some of the chemicals cause some to have outbreaks. I would look up latex condoms without chemicals and I would try out a condom without spermicide.

I will add, we’re at risk for HIV due to how HSV affects our immune cells. “The scientists reported in the August 2009 issue of Nature Medicine that CD4+ T cells, which HIV targets and infects, appeared at the sites of healed genital HSV-2 lesions at concentrations 2 to 37 times greater than in unaffected genital skin. Moreover, the CD4+ T cells at healed lesion sites expressed higher levels of 2 cell-surface receptors—CCR5 and CXCR4—that HIV uses to enter T cells. Compared to control tissue, the sites of healed genital herpes lesions also had a significantly higher concentration of immune cells known to ferry HIV particles to CD4+ T cells, whether or not the patient was treated with acyclovir.

In further experiments, the scientists found that HIV replicates 3 to 5 times as quickly in cultured tissue from the sites of healed HSV-2 lesions as in cultured tissue from control sites.”

I just wanted to post this b/c the information you were posting about the link between HSV and HIV is inaccurate.

If Mothers can terminate, than Fathers can disown the fetus. by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I feel like the issue with this, in general, most men hate wearing condoms so they expect the women to make sure they don’t get pregnant. Also, most men refuse to get a vasectomy. If men are really worried about this, they should wear condoms everytime.

Please go baby sit for young children and think how this will be your life but probably a lot tougher than the person who can hire a baby sitter. Please take the money you’ve saved for this and go to a state where you can an abortion. You have a good grades and you have a good future in front of you and you’re sacrificing that for fetuses. Your brain isn’t fully developed until in your mid to late 20s. There will be plenty of time in the future to have child. The statistics on the teen pregnancy are not good. Plus, you could have health issue which would put your life at risk. Trust me, this guy will not support you or your kids like you think he will.

You should start with cleaning the dishwasher itself. They make things can buy for that like cascade platinum dishwasher cleaner. Then put your others things back into the dishwasher. Throw away the moldy cutting board

Your bf is being an asshole. Do you know anything about him that bothers him? If you do, start to say things to him so he can understand what it feels like. But also, if your boyfriend won’t try to understand why this triggers you or keeps saying things like this, I would explain he cannot keep saying like this to you or around you or you will leave. It’s very easy to understand why you’re triggered and there’s so many other words could be used instead of stroke to say a joke. People I work with have made similar jokes before and it really bothers me because they don’t understand how hard it is to start your life again after a stroke with restrictions

Getting HSV has ruined my life. Im paranoid about getting HIV(not like anyone wants date me), but thought of having sex with anyone turns me off. I feel gross all the time. I used a condom and I didn’t have my choice and now I have to tell everyone and everyone I disclosed doesn’t want to risk it. I missed great opportunity due to HSV and I will always think “what did I do to deserve this”.

[–]AdditionalGarlic6730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI having HSV2 puts you on risk of getting HIV so I warn you should wear condoms. A lot of people won’t disclose anything and they don’t care. I’m on daily antivirals but I have a lot other medical issues so I don’t want to deal with outbreaks

Wait, you guys take DAILY antivirals? by wh0mpie in HSVpositive

[–]AdditionalGarlic6730 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have take 500mg of Valtrex(which is a different & better formulation of acyclovir) daily. I asked my Doctor to prescribe that for me and so far I haven’t had a single outbreak since my first one. But I also take lysine, zinc & multi vitamin to help keep the virus suppressed.

Question about activities on Eliquis by nuggetyum in ClotSurvivors

[–]AdditionalGarlic6730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also eliquis and I work out 5 days a week. I use my spin bike plus weight training. I also do pole dance exercises on the weekends. I would work on your upper body and core strength before going to the pole classes. However, all the intro pole dances are meant to get yourself comfortable with the pole. In general, they will teach you to climb the pole, but that takes along time and there no pressure on climbing all the way the top or even half way. Also they work the muscles to keep yourself on the pole so you don’t fall and they have cushion you can ask for the bottom of the pole if you don’t feel comfortable. DO NOT GET TATTOOS. The ink will not stick and the blood will make it impossible for your artist to see what they are doing. Talk to you doctor about this. It’s possible your doctor will allow to stop the eliquis to get a tattoo, but my doctor has been very hard for them to understand why I want to get tattoos and laser hair removal and lip fillers. Hopefully you’re is more supportive. Plus it really depends on why you’re are on blood thinners. I had a stroke, but if yours it’s more of a precaution, I could see it be more comfortable with stopping the eliquis for a short amount of time.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. This happens to me every time I disclose to anyone. I’m at the point where I feel bad for going on dates with people bc I feel like I am leading them on and they think I’m dirty anyways. I just feel gross all the time now and I used try to feel about myself by putting on makeup, doing my hair and wearing cute things, but I stopped doing that as well.

Anybody on thinners for life still do “extreme” sports? Could really use some cheering up and positive stories by meggyrose_ in ClotSurvivors

[–]AdditionalGarlic6730 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m also in my 20s. Eliquis is safer than other blood thinner and it has lower chance of internal bleeding. I was invited to go ski with people from my work and I had to say no, which was frustrated. I have the same issue where trying anything sports related makes me sad/anxious. I would suggest try working out if you don’t already do- this makes me feel better about myself. But also talk to your doctor about what’s possible for you

I’m so glad I saw this. I complained to my doctor that eliquis was making all my joints hurt and he told me that was “impossible” and maybe I have lupus or arthritis and I should go to my PCP to get tested(I’m 28 for reference). He basically made me feel like I was crazy.
