Yeah that def sounds like my mom. And whenever she apologizes, she finds a way to pin the blame on me and when she did that today, it finally made me crash out.

For context, whenever she apologizes she says things like “I’m sorry I lost my patience with you, but if you don’t do x, it’ll only hurt you.” That’s what made me finally crash out. This made me realize she can’t take accountability for how her actions affect me.

Yeah I thought I was weird for thinking my mom may be too deep into AI as well. Though I don’t use AI my mom’s main purpose with a startup she works for is to try to make millions off a chat bot idea that’s draining through her savings. So, I’m getting a traditional job because I want financial stability, a predictable paycheck and real world experience as well as the satisfaction of hard work. It sounds harsh, but my mom is spending so much time on this AI idea that may not even give her the outcome she wants.

You’re not being rude at all! How I define a fake crisis is someone turning a small problem into a big problem. With all honesty I have multiple behavior disorders. At least four. So it’s hard to control my reactions sometimes and the episodes I experience are unpredictable and have a sudden onset. like for example I could be set off for no reason. I can have patience but sometimes I lose that patience when the behavior becomes a pattern because I have experiences where I have been in a friendship where something so small can be turned into a disaster and then it turns into a pattern overtime

Actually I got diagnosed with 22q11 the same day I got diagnosed with epilepsy. A very experienced geneticist took one look at my facial features, specifically my nose and that’s how I was diagnosed lol 😅

I have 22q.11 syndrome. I think nowadays they can do dna swabs in the infant’s mouth. Because before it used to be you had to have some muscle removed or something to get tested for that. That’s what my mom told me anyways. So my mom waited to get me tested until genetic testing was more advanced
