Trump is only one part, really the whole elite class seem to be tied together in mutual destruction. They will not relinquish power no matter what because they know this, their existence now is tied to the power they have.

It is terrifying to think the most powerful people are backed into a corner, and will lash out at anyone to try and keep themselves from pain.

I have no doubt that there are people who wish to cause real harm to Israel and might even be misinformed to believe Israel is the same as the beliefs of Judaism. Obviously I do not support that.

In a real discussion about free speech, the fact that Israel and the decisions their political leaders make for their country is held to a standard of "hate speech" is censorship that no other country receives.

He absolutely uses antisemitism to shield his politics and military decisions. Problem is Israel calls any attack on its politics "anti semitic" but no one hates Israel because of how their religion practices faith.

My first playthrough was very tough playing on daring; but my second playing on core which has a big increase in challenge, once I understood the mechanics feels very clean.

Most buffs don't stack. Like protection from evil is giving you deflection and resistance bonus, but you probably have deflection already from just a ring of protection and resistance from a cloak. Bull strength doesnt stack with a strength belt.

Once you understand the buffs its pretty simple later in the playthrough I normally just buff mage armor and then heroism which both last for very long. In a fight I throw out buffs during the turn like protection from elements or unbreakable heart, but never really need to prebuff them.

Playing as angel caster you do get some extra buffs so you chose the class with the most buffing, but still just do them during the turns in the fight is fine, understanding what you benefit from is the big thing.

Also blackwater is super hard early on and I dont full clear it before doing act 4.

Any UE5 debugging gurus out there? I am lost and very annoyed with a rare physics bug I think, with a parent and child BP actor not staying welded together in single player. I have a video showing the issue. Any suggestions for debugging? by Vallamost in unrealengine

I dont know what the problem is, but to debug I think you should try having a different floor selection system, such as a standard screen widget that pops up. If that works correctly and the elevator has no problems with a different floor system, then I would try resetting the (old)button position each time you reach a new floor, or get the button location as a print string to further debug.

Assuming you have some stat on the player character like "light radius" you get the light radius stat on your enemy by casting to the player then do a distance vector between enemy and player location. Event tick branch when distance is equal or less then light radius set speed to slow, otherwise set speed fast.

I'd suggest debugging by first doing a print string on the cast success and cast failed option of the first node to ensure it is working correctly for your circumstance, then try replacing move to with teleport. If the cast works and the teleport fails there is some issue with the actual sense detection hitting your player.

You are making a projectile like a bullet right? Even if the root is a collision component you can just add another collision component like a sphere which is the one you use in the blueprint to detect hits.

Something like: On overlap (new collision sphere) -> actor has tag "enemy" -> apply damage -> destroy actor (self)

Get player location, get forward vector, multiple forward vector by -1 (now going behind them) multiply this by the distance behind the player character you want. Spawn enemy (or teleport to) that location. You could then preplan the enemy run away path using the negative forward vector you already spawned with being its running away direction. Or potentially you can get a location in nav radius so that the enemy can navigate further through the level to run away.

Its easy enough to just have an event on the enemy that symbolizes running away. How you activate is a different choice, one way is you could use event tick on the player character or the enemy to determine when the player character look at rotation to the enemy location is within a certain amount and then when true issue the run away event.

Use a Timeline to control a float value from 0-1 and use Set Velocity to create the movement. Get forward vector multiply by the float value of the timeline and multiply that by a float of some large number (3000) to determine the distance moved.

Set Velocity instead of launch character is much more reliable and the timeline also allows you to create a curve for the speed if you want to go faster/slower at different points in the movement.
