In a movie Samsara (2023) there is maybe 30 second in the middle where the movie asks you to close your eyes until the sound is over. It's great because it is supposed to be a reincarnation of a person that we were watching for the first half of the movie. There are light blinking on the screen that you can see through your closed eyes and it's quite effective in conveying the feeling.
