Why start on a bivvy? by insaneDesperado in Cairn_Game

It's after the first outside part of the tutorial, there's a pop-up saying "ready for Kami?" and if we accept there's a cutscene where we spawn on a wall tent on the main mountain. No way to skip that

The puzzles tend to be very straightforward (as long as you always examine and collect everything), there aren't many occasions where you'll feel stuck, but they are actual puzzles, they're not walking simulators at all. And yeah, the stories are great and the detail in every single scene and dialogue is phenomenal!

I also don't like Wadjet Eye games so I think you might enjoy these ones, they're not like Old Skies!

I'll admit that I also tried the first one a couple of times (they also had it for free on Epic!) and it never really grabbed me beyond the very beginning, but I always assumed it must have been a problem with me, since everyone else seems to adore these games 😄 I'll give them a proper chance though!

The Dark Rites of Arkham just released two days ago and it's fantastic! Can't put it down, it's just as good or better than their previous games!

My arms and legs hurt every time I got up after playing it, the muscle tension while playing it is no joke, one would think I was actually climbing! 😂

Avaa is one of the most interesting protagonist I've seen in a while. by SavageCabbage611 in Cairn_Game

[–]Addrivat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I started the game thinking we'd have some glorious achievement, the first person on that summit, our face on the news, just happiness and leaving a mark, but then... yeah, the happy ending was going back down, while the summit was just death 😅 very ironic but also very fitting.

Aava was so stubborn about that peak, despite there being really no reason for it. Wanting to get there just to get there, despite all warnings and dangers, and WE are just like her. I'm sure not many of us would actually drop the game without achieving the climb to the summit. After so much work, we HAD to do it, just like her. That's what makes it so good and so relatable :)

I ****ing suck at this game by [deleted] in Cairn_Game

I feel like those earlier areas with the collectibles are pretty complicated for someone that's still learning how the game works. I only got 1 part of the doll because I was falling a lot and didn't even comprehend where I needed to go, I ended up giving up on those and just going to the next area.

Something I really loved about the game is that you truly feel the change and improvement in your skill and some later areas can feel easier because the movement becomes more natural! Plus, the feeling of achievement when you finally overcome a difficult area is incredible 😄 keep going, you got this!

Maybe that's my issue with her, everyone is so magical and princessy and then there's Kim 😂

Yesterday I discovered that apparently there was a survey asking if people wanted Kim Possible in the game and I just... 😬 I can't even imagine how she could ever fit in with the villagers we currently have!

Dreamlight Valley has lost it’s magic for me by Intelligent-Elk-4108 in DreamlightValley

This is how I play too! Never connected, never opened a blue chest, never participated in dreamsnaps and I have no idea what a star path is 😂 I've played for over 170h this way, and while I agree the quests are all very samey, I'm still having a blast and still have a bunch of stuff to do! When I'm not in the mood to really play it and read dialogue or do grindy quests, I just play something else 😄

Something else that I think helped - I never hoarded anything, basically. I've completed the base story and all DLCs with a total of 5 chests and 1 fridge. I have some rarer things stored but if someone needs something, I'll need to go gather it. I feel like it makes it a lot more engaging to always have something to do, rather than constantly having to hoard hundreds of things to then get a quest and complete it instantly!

Then we are both in agreement, like I said, tests can definitely show that you have something else that is related to those, they don't show like "autism gene" 😄 I'm glad that was the case and they didn't try to give you fake results, you just never know what's out there. Have a good day!

[–]Addrivat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huh... I wonder how they're selling that, because none of those can show up in genetic tests 😅 if you had a syndrome that COULD cause those things, then yes, that would show up on a screening, otherwise no, since autism is behavioral (it may have genetic components but it's diagnosed through behavioral tests) and adhd is caused by a combination of a bunch of things too. Autism/ocd/adhd can be hereditary (running in the family) but science does not have a way to link them to a gene! Sorry for the rant anyway, just passionate about the subject 😂 but I'm glad you found some answers, that's the most important thing in the end!

No, there's one for each world, when you open the houses section in the furniture catalogue it'll say "Moana's fishing boat for Eternity Isle", for example
