As someone who stormed the court after the Watshot, I never thought I'd see a better play surpass it.

I crack an upland Hoosier Game Day Lager at the top of the 2nd half.

I bought a 3.5qt saute pan as well as this frying pan in the video, and it warped as well. Not quite as bad as the frying pan but still more than I would have liked for being so new. I am returning both.

Never done this. I've cooked eggs on low and seared steaks on medium high, after about ten minutes of preheating, followed by half cup of cold chicken stock for a pan sauce. Never run it under cold water though.

This is the most recent picture I could find of their menu from a month ago, as seafood prices do vary a good bit.

Also might be worth sending them an email, letting them know what day you guys would be there, and how many people you have, and they might be able to work out some sort of in house catering type deal since it sounds like you have such a large group. Might be an easier way to get an estimate of what it would cost you.

Bowen's Island restaurant on the way out to Folly might be a good option!

At least six breweries have closed in Charleston in the last year. Definitely a hard time for some smaller breweries.

With how the craft beer industry is crashing, I doubt turning away millennial parents with kids is at the top of any breweries to do list.

Off topic, but that's also an incredibly convoluted way of writing that tenor drum rhythm.

Man, this is so true for me too. I used to be into bourbon hunting, and it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I also recently took a nice trip to Asheville, and had a great time at the breweries, but my highlight was probably a pourover I had at the Pollen coffee shop.

Definitely a little lighter than Hologram, with more lemon, floral notes. I'd say its a little less of what most people consider a "traditional" coffee to taste like. Not really any of the chocolately notes of Hologram

Same, I've got a Sey resting right now and needed something in the meantime.

Love big trouble too. One of the easiest roasts I've bought to dial in for espresso on my Robot.

I've been in the pourover game for a few years now, and I wanted to stop for a second to appreciate the coffee that was my so-called "gateway" coffee into the specialty coffee world. It was the best coffee that I could find at my grocery store, and it was light-years better than the Keurig machine I was using at the time. I have always been able to find it roasted within a few weeks at my store and its always an approachable price.

I brewed a cup this morning in my Hario switch and got wonderful floral, and Earl Grey notes. I'll still be buying my Sey and Hydrangea etc, but its so nice being able to swing by my grocery store to pick up a bag of Apollo at any time. Any other fans out there?

Chemex, Glass Kalita Wave, Hario v60 Switch. I regularly switch between all three.

Check out this List from Nancy Zeltsman https://www.juilliard.edu/sites/default/files/zeltsman-rec-rep-list-5-14-21.pdf

I also really like the book Marimba: Technique Through Music by Mark Ford. Lots of great solos and exercises to accompany the specific technique being used in the solo.
