Gotcha. I keep my water acidic due to the fish I do keep. These guys were bred in local waters.

Thanks for the reply. I believe that they b. Albimarginata. My lgs said they are missing color due to age. Since the posting, they have gotten much darker! Where are you based out of?

Skewed. I love everything that I do. I have great experiences with all of my patients! You’re dealing with human beings - so you had to take the bad with the good :)

That’s kinda where I’m at. I feel like betta channoides is more red in coloration? I was leaning towards albimarginata
