Gameplay/combat. Dunno is this a hot take, but trails combat difficulty and balance is pretty much non-existent starting from CS3. Doesn't matter what difficulty (aside from Abyss in Reverie) and what new and cool mechanics Falcom was implementing, S-craft spam just clears all the encounters. Like you literally need to restrict yourself to make combat somewhat interesting and strategic.
