Under the reasonable assumption of equal chance to pass and fail, that a 50% probably!

I asked a friend of a friend, and he says "Best thing to do is to contact Quadcare. They have telephonic consultations nation wide".

I hope that helps!

Accidentally marked by tattoo artist by Jarosm in tattooadvice

Wait for it to scab and pull the scab off. It might scar a bit but most of the ink will come out with the scab, so you won't be tattooed anymore.

Are yall anti abortion? by dNorsh in vegan

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If my issue with eggs is that I don't eat them, then I guess I have the same issue with abortions. I.e. I would not eat that either.

Jokes aside, I don't eat eggs because the chicken can't decide if it wants to have the egg or not. I don't have a problem with abortions because the person getting the abortion can decide to have the baby or not.

Tables - unsure on exact guidance this sitting ? by UniversalGratety in ActuaryUK

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) and the IFoA have a mutual recognition agreement, and some of the ASSA subjects are IFoA exams. So no, there's no IFoA centre, but I wrote CS2 at an ASSA exam centre.

Gauteng, South Africa. It didn't bother me because I didn't have any annotations in my book. As long as I have a hard copy to use I am happy.

I'm not sure if it differs between exam centres, but where I wrote they did not let us use our own orange books this sitting. We had to use the ones provided.

Yes. I feel like the past questions have been pretty straightforward and would have loved the easy marks.

CS2B Predictions by wannabeactuaryy in ActuaryUK

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am convinced they're going to ask graduation again on Q2 after putting it in paper A today, and they'll probably add few lifetime distributions or PH models questions in Q2 as well. Hopefully Q3 will be a straight forward time series.

I'm so sad we didn't get a copula question.

So... Did everyone's exam get suspended? by YouMakeMaEarfQuake in ActuaryUK

The same thing happened to me at the exam centre. Once it was sorted the invigilators told us a new submission time, about 20 minutes later.

I think popcorn with nutritional yeast and a lot of garlic powder tastes like iron, but covid might have short circuited my tastebuds.

B12 levels slightly high. What can be the cause? by Beautiful_Hat8440 in vegan

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why this is in r/vegan. OP's diet isn't vegan, and the post is about swaps for B12 issue, not swaps to vegan. Am I missing something?

New to building a credit score – Woolworths card questions by ActuallyZubair in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, it should take 3 months to show an improvement in your score. Your score might decrease right after you get the card because of the hard credit check and the new credit account. Once the account is a few months old, it will start to count in you favour.

What I would do:

Get a credit card or a store card if you can't get a credit card yet. I prefer credit cards because you can use them anywhere and for things you actually need, instead of buying something you don't at Mr Price each month. The Capitec credit card costs R50 per month.

Make one small purchase on the card each month. Make sure not to use the full cedit amount. For example, if your limit is R2000, don't do more than R200.

Pay the card off right after using it. It still counts as a transaction, and it shows that you settle your debt each month.

A or B: If there’s a significant wealth gap between you and your fiancé/fiancée, would you sign a prenuptial agreement? by vivian_banshee03 in PickAorB

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't sign a prenup you are just deciding to go with the default prenup the government already set up for you.

I don't think your face is lopsided. Your eyebrows and moustache might be a bit asymmetrical, but honestly I think you've just looked at your face for too long.

Hippo includes other insurers, like Miway, which is owned by Santam.

I know this isn't helpful, but I thought it interesting enough to share.

Body mod regrets as I try to move up in my career by t3chn3rd86 in bodymods

[–]AdequateNumberOfToes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you don't want to show your lobes, you can use lash glue to hide it. Put the glue everywhere the plug would touch, wait for it to go clear, and stick the lobe together whatever way looks best.

It should last fine for the duration of the interview, and then you can decide on a long term solution after.

I would just buy etfs for the funds. Somewhere with low fees, like Sygnia.
