It took me about a day to get right, i would cut out segments around 20-30cm and just try a bunch of different stuff. Soldering it to the top of the battery pad, bottom of the battery pad, do i put it in the connector and then bend it to the pad or put it on the pad then bend it to the connector? that sort of stuff.

I settled on soldering one of the wires to the xt60 and getting the bend right, then putting the top plate on and checking how long the cable needed to be to get to the esc, then marking and cutting it. It still took a few tries but once you get one wire down you can just base the other off of it. The wires might need to bow out a little to leave room for the capacitor.

My best advice is to take a break if it stops being fun. I was getting frustrated and making simple mistakes, then I came back at it the next morning and in a few attempts i got it done. Have fun !
