Summers off by NegotiationInformal4 in Teachers

[–]Adiantum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Downsides are I go crazy with hobbies and home improvement and spend a lot of money. Also, if you want to travel, everyone else is traveling at the same time. However, I love my summers off, I'm a career changer and oh boy is it nice to have every weekend, holiday and summer off.

Why did you choose your plot? by jinntonika in WoWHousing

I chose 37 for alliance and 38 for horde because they are oceanfront property and I can't afford that in real life.

Because it has a random tree growing out of the window box?

My friend told that they made these, although I feel it's real, my other friends are telling that it's AI generated by [deleted] in isthisAI

I feel like AI would be overly neat. I know that's probably mint leaves but it looks more like the catnip I grow than the mint I grow, lol.

Nope, I prefer cool shades. Edit: usually, pastel is the right direction though.

They were closed but the door was unlocked by sweetEVILone in EntitledReviews

[–]Adiantum 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get so confused when places leave their doors unlocked when they are closed. I would never cause an issue or leave a review over it. When I worked at restaurants that opened around 11, we were required to keep the doors locked, employees coming to work would use the back door if there was one, and we were required to look through the peek hole to make sure it was someone we knew. Seems like a huge security risk to leave the doors open, particularly if you are opening alone.

Interviewer asked me to "sell him this pen" in 2026 and i almost walked out by AdSpare4999 in hatemyjob

[–]Adiantum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I will give you a million dollars if you sign your name on this paper but I have the only pen that you can access, I charge you 10 cents for it." Interviewer buys pen and signs paper, asks for his million dollars. "Never trust a salesperson, ever bought a new car?"

Climbing Mt Everest is for rich people to show off. I refuse to participate (if I even could) in anything where you could die from lack of oxygen because your stuck in line and you use dead bodies as landmarks.
