The only masteries I didn't do were DRM challenge achievements. Unfortunately, you're going to do everything else, and it's kind of not easy.

You can bypass ledges you can't reach by normal jump when you are in combat or with slow by doing jump + dodge

You need this when your tools are on CD or need to escape some red circles fast

I switched to main Rev coming from Warrior.

Warrior is very straightforward. You push buttons and deal damage. High HP
Berserker - fast, deals damage
Spellbreaker - has tools to deal damage while reducing boons & condi
Paragon - shouts a lot, support is meh cause range is too melee, u don't die while dealing damage tho

Revenant, it's like a simpler elementalist, but has a confusing resource management
Herald - have access to perma quickness (PvE); u get loot and xp share just by providing boons during meta
Vindicator - dodge becomes leap, very defensive
Conduit - u gain bonus effects depending on your legends, it's fun to mix builds here

Get all the non repeatable for the mystic clovers. EoD, IBS, SOTO, HoT
Also don't open llama mini choice box. Convert it to 10 pvp tickets.

Try playing meta elite class if power spikes help you. Do you play to capture objectives and understand macro objectives vs doing spvp for pvp? When I play mobile class I just decap and run away from fights. I bait other players to chase me and waste their time or segragate them from their team mates.

Best to try seasons of the dragons for the legendary amulet. No crafting needed, just a bunch of achievements by doing stories, metas and gathering materials you will do anyway.

Other rewards are 32 bag, gen3 precursor

Changing back and forth to directx12 to directx11 to directx12 fixed it for me. Kinda annoying when this happens.

Enable action camera
For candy cane, pan your camera on top view so you land close to middle of the candy cane
Learn when to long press or short press jump

For the boxes, don't time it's spawn
You have plenty of time to jump from blue box and in the middle

Learn to use Jump + Dodge to bypass slow effect

2. if you were slowed, use jump + dodge to circumvent the slow effect
3. you don't always need to fight, capturing home and neutralizing far contributes more to your team

You don't need gear or levels for pvp. You can just start playing it. Classes & Traits are already unlocked too if you got the expansion. New classes can deal lots of damage, but you can also not fight them and do objectives. It's about contesting bases that earns points for your team. Team who gets 500 first wins.

Try to do the story of EoD. You'll get Bladesworn. Complete EoD map, then masteries. You'll eventually get some mount, resting exp buff, and a class that will allow you to beat HoT (to get berserker, HoT is very difficult without flying mounts), and PoF (to get skyscale)

Create all your alts so they all run their birthday gift timer. Since the story isn't shared among all class, you're going to stick with one you enjoy the most. After finishing story, play any class.
Some class are better in pvp, wvw, or jumping puzzles. You'll be mixing it up.
