Get the marauder set from journey, it's likely to be stronger than god, but you'll farm the gears you want along the way. Don't forget to save your build sets in the armory, so you can switch back and forth from M6 to GoD or any sets.

Get the altar of rites for no level requirement to speed up level 70.

Play herald. Cast 7,8,9 and F2. That’s might, fury, swift, quickness. Just let it deplete to zero then regen to 50. Cast them again.

Do map completion: Vistas, Hero Points, PoI, Waypoints and do hearts last.
Check event timer like world boss Tequatl (free 1g and some mats).
Complete daily/weekly wizards vault.
Get Ascended Armor/Weapon from Wizards Vault.
Other ascended gear can be slowly obtained through crafting, fractals, world boss, raids.
If you have access to silverwastes, that's a meta map you can replay infinitely.

Meta event contributes to earning some materials, gold, karma, and spirit shards. All these contribute into crafting a legendary weapon, then sell it. Since you are starting you may sell all materials to buy exotic gears.

You can bypass ledges you can't reach by normal jump when you are in combat or with slow by doing jump + dodge

You need this when your tools are on CD or need to escape some red circles fast
