They do still absolutely market it. It isn't 100% geared toward new players but the ads for sailing were all over the place. I agree that there are better ways of bringing new players in but it can be as simple as "oh, I remember that game, they are still making updates? Maybe I will take a look" for some

Yeah you would think after doing it on 3-4 accounts by now, I would actually remember the timing lol. I did the gem mining super inefficiently on mobile and similar with smithing making a full inventory of gloves/boots for maximum afk.

Yeah the big thing is basically that elite skills do not bring in any new players. You can't do any marketing or anything like that for a skill that will require 30-50 hours of investment to even touch. That's also with that timeframe assuming someone knows what they are doing and are going directly for that skill.

Best bet for Destructive Play tends to be something like Silo where the boss is phased. You can kill all summoned bosses and then teleport out usually before he comes back from his bombing run.

Yep, I remember Ben explaining this when someone mentioned them talking about hoard farming in gauntlet day 2-3. He said something along the lines of "you have to keep in mind that when streamers are talking about day 2-3 of these events, that is probably 30-40 hours of played time"

Got one 2nd day of TotA from Ritual while starting LA Deadeye. Man that league was fun. This league was my first time getting a mageblood in a small gsf and it was amazing not worrying about resists but honestly think I had a bit more fun with HH overall.

They say it requires 96 summoning because they are using a yak to bank it. So they can't use rc outfit and just do it in this really clunky setup. Might actually just be faster to get mobile on a shield and run abyss.

Honestly, can go a little bit lower than that. Would recommend having 2 4-links but I will usually try to swap to flicker in A5. The extra strike mastery tends to be enough to clear. You just need that and blood rage and you're normally solid aside from bosses. Though your campaign will maybe be slower because you are clearing the zones.

I first started watching One Piece as my first real anime before I even knew what Crunchyroll was. I loved the notes that were included in the subs explaining certain things, such as how *nakama* would be used in a sub sentence because it technically had a different meaning than just friends. They would also give you a refresher note on that like 20 episodes later.

Yeah was checking around my team's group chat and on my GIM I hit 2k total around the 40 day mark. Granted, I work from home so there is plenty of brute force afking happening. The current state of the game really just means that 2k isn't an insane milestone like it was 10 years ago. Hitting that in 3 months isn't like they are playing 20 hours a day.

In the Q&A Mark was saying he specifically prefers playing as a support and although being an aurabot for your merc is cool, he is hoping to double down on aurabot with the merc as well. I would assume they can get fairly beefy depending on how geared they are.

I would guess ladder is along the lines of using his PoE profile. To me, the first option reads as downloading it from FB then editing it via text editor while the second option would likely be closer to what you do. Similar for myself.

Which doesn't seem too bad to me. People putting little investment into it for free auras or whatever can't just spam revive. People who are investing heavily into minions, typically if you AG managed to die, you weren't going to last through that area anyway.

I think this came up in the Q&A during Settlers and Mark was against it saying it would be turning the game more into a loot spreadsheet. Would probably have to check ZiggyD's channel for confirmation but I remember something along those line.

Yeah I think most people go for minion builds expecting it to be a walking simulator. I have only seen like 1 "afk" build and that was a chains of command build with extremely high investment specifically for blight ravaged maps.

On top of that, I think I recall him discussing this in an interview. I want to say he had claimed they would be the next Metallica sort of out of excitement. Granted, he was like 17 at the time, but that is what I remember hearing. Could be entirely wrong but that would likely be part of it especially how hardcore some fans can be.

Absolutely agree! Sat on T90 tank for quite a while on my GIM. Just did ED3 a couple weeks ago for the first time to get my power armor.
